Sleek i-Divine Ultra Mattes V1 Palette - Brights [Swatches]

By everbluec · August 24, 2012 · 0 Comments ·

Finally!!! I got my hand on one of the 2 Ultra Mattes palettes (The other one was OOS at that time of ordering - ordered thru Joanna's spree)... the wait was worth it (I guess) cos all the colors are sooooooo pretty and they swatch very well ^_^

Ingredients list...
[Not sure which ingredients - But this palette cannot be shipped over to US and Canada (according to their website)]

Various lighting of the pretty colorful matte shadows

Swatches in various lighting....

Cricket, Boit and Strike are the most pigmented and creamy in the palette.... Sugarlite, floss, crete and Pow! were kinda weak.
All the shadows doesn't feel chalky.. they were pretty well pressed into the pan and they swatch well and smooth on the back of my dry hand.

They don't really feel like "matte" shadow... they have a nice sleek texture and finishing...

All swatches were done without any base.

Strike, Bammi, Dragon Fly, Cricket and Boit are my favourite!!!

LOTD - Sleek PPQ Me, Myself and Eye Palette

By everbluec · May 24, 2012 · 2 Comments ·

Just like the title, I played around with the Sleek PPQ Me, Myself and Eye Palette... as usual, I reached for my fave colors "Primal Green" first and the rest were colors that I THINK goes well with primal green :)

  • Primal Green(Sleek) on the lids
  • Golden silvers(sleek) to blend it out (just above the crease),
  • line it with K-palette Liquid liner and layer it with Blue Monday(sleek).

  • I used Lilac Allen(sleek) on lower lash line
  • Barry white(sleek) on the inner corner and the inner lower lash line.
  • Mix Barry White(sleek) with any skin tone eyeshadow/pressed foundation under the brows(as highlight).

Lolx at my "duck" lips(mouth)... I wanna delete away this horrible pic... but this is the "ONLY" one that shown the Lilac Allen(lilac shade) on my under lash line.

Products used::

Sleek PPQ Me, Myself and Eye Palette
Givenchy Prisme Libre in 75 Poetique Orchid
theBalm Hot mama blush
Maybelline Fit Me Foundation in 110
K-palette Kuma cover control concealer in Type 1(click)
Leaders Clinic MEDIEU Sensitive Sun Cream SPF50+ PA+++
LimeCrime eyeshadow helper (Primer)
MAC EverHip lipstick
Majolica Majorca Lash Expander Frame Plus (click)
Heavy Rotation Brow mascara in nude
K-palette 24H Real Lasting Eyeliner (Waterproof) in JetBlack
K-Palette 24H Real Lasting Eyepencil (Waterproof) in Black (click)
K-Palette 24H Real Lasting 2-Way Eyebrow Liner in 02 (click)
Product in Blue font were provided by the company.

The Maybelline FIT me Foundation was really sheer, but the shade matches me so well, it feel like I didn't put on any foundation. It does even out my complextion, as for the coverage wise super sheer, feels like tinted moisturizer.

The Leaders Clinic sun cream(though made my face look abit redish like lobster[the tint was abit too warm on me], but it can be easily taken off by using a piece of tissue to dap off the excess serum+pigment) have more coverage then the foundation.

I will do a review on the Maybelline FIT Me Foundation soon.

I look bloated in this shot (with my hair off the side of my face)... but Peapea look so dreamy here~

[Haul + Swatches]

I placed the sleek order myself months ago right before this came out... so join a spree together with Verlyn to simple get this palette (and I almost forgotten about it until recently when Verlyn ask me to collect for her!

A combination of matte and frosty texture... the frosty one have a "more" wet and creamier texture as compare to their pass collection!!

Swatches from various lighting....

My fave would be Blue Monday, Primal Green, Salt 'N' Peppermint, Simply Red and Pink Beret. Well... Lilac Allen also very pretty BUT not really unique ^.^

Sleek I-Divine : The Primer Palette [Swatches]

By everbluec · October 18, 2011 · 8 Comments ·

Close-up

Swatches in various lighting...

All the cream shadow were frosty except the NOIR(black)... the cream wasn't too drying and it does feels abit oily. I haven't try this on my eyelids yet, so cannot say much about the staying power... But I do feels that it will crease abit.

Anyway, it's a pretty nice palette with shades that I will use :)

(P/S:: I have been abit busy with my sister's wedding for the past couple of months and last Sat was her wedding day.. Finally! lolx. NOW, I'm back!!! I have more time to edit/resize pics and update all the products/events/reviews that was meant to do weeks ago! And I'm so sorry that I was MIA for the past few days!)

Sleek Nude collection : Au Naturel i-divine palette and Suede Blush [Swatches]

By everbluec · September 26, 2011 · 5 Comments ·

I ordered Sleek Nude collection palette and blush

I'm not crazy about neutral shades, unless it for blending, transition, crease or as brow highlight color... but one of the shade lure me into getting it... was "MOSS" (I know... I already have quite afew olive range type of shade but I really don't have anything similar to this one!! I think... lolx)

Taken without flash

Ingredients list

swatches in various lighting (these are dry swatches without any base)

The top half of the palette were full of light creamy matte shades(except Taupe, it's a frosty).. which would be good for crease, brows and highlight.. it's not crazily pigmented, but creamy and smooth enough for blending. Some of the shades turn out quite pretty and I'm surprised that I actually liking it (I like cappuccino, honeycomb and toast!!!)

Close up... check out "Moss", such a pretty color... and "Regal" a hidden gem for me (I like I like~)

Next Suede Blush

OOoh... nice nude shade... abit peachy right?

When I first look at Suede, I thought it look quite similar to Barry M's terracotta!

Comparison swatches...

Turn out Barry M terracotta was much reddish as compare to Sleek Suede!
Happy that it wasn't anyway near similar!!!

Canmake "Milky Orange" blush trend

By everbluec · September 8, 2011 · 10 Comments ·

In this entry, I'm going to show swatches of the three blushes I received back in June 2011 (Click)

This summer, Canmake join the "orange" blushes craze trend for this summer(I know summer almost over.. but the love for anythings orangey, coral and peaches never dies).

The "Milky Orange" Canmake mentioned was actually a more tone down Orange shade.. which is coral/peachy shade.

Canmake Cream Cheeks in #12 (New shade) Price: SD$17.90
The cream cheek was not oily and it last quite well..  not super long wearing but long enough(lolx... did I made any sense here???)

Canmake Cheek & Cheek in #01 (Price: SD$19.90)

Canmake powder cheek in PW27 (Price: SD$17.90?? Not too sure)

Part of my peach, coral, orangey blushes

Some swatches...

I'm still pretty crazy about this type of blush shades.... If you came across some really pretty peachy, orangery blushes do let me know... kekeke ....

Oh, I remember I have a VOV (Korean brand) blush that was really pigmented and in orange shade but I cant find it in my stash.... Hmmm... did I gave it away??? Anyway.. here the pics I copy from my previous entry...

Taken from this entry (VOV)

That's all ^,~

P/S: My sis going to smurf me when she found out that I took her Blythe :b Oh, well... who ask this Blythe have lovely shades of peach hair, orange eyes and coral cheeks!!!

[Swatches] Sleek i-Divine - Oh So Special palette

By everbluec · August 7, 2011 · 6 Comments ·

Sleek "Oh So Special" Palette (Price:£6.99)

Without the name's sheet..

A palette of shades from normal neutral day look to glam up night look. A palette that suit any skintone!

Swatches from various lighting...

"The mail" would be a good transition color. And I really like Glitz, Pamper, ribbon, celebrate and Organza. I can see myself reaching for this palette for a normal day out or when I'm too lazy to play with colors.

No primer was used!
Just clean my hand/fingers before swatching with wet wipes (and ofcouse tissue dry it before swatching)
