LOTD using MAC "In the gallery" quad (Purple)

By everbluec · February 7, 2011 · 0 Comments ·

A day time LOTD... I have been using alot of "light" color lately.. it's either bronze, green or purple.. I think I going to do a "blue" next ^__^

I'm using MAC "In The Gallery" Quad I got from Sophia's sale last year.

Products used::

On my face:

-> Nature Republic Alaska Aqua Sunblock cream(Not in the pic)
-> Skin79 Absolute Total Diamond Bbcream
-> SANA Natural Resource Loose powder UV
-> MAC My Highland Honey mix with the pink in The Bodyshop Baked blush in (#02 Coral)

Eye's makeup products::
-> Urban Decay Primer Potion as base
-> MAC "In the gallery" quad
-> MAC PearlGlide Intense Eyeliner in Designer purple
-> Kpalette Real Lasting eyeliner (WP) near the lash liner
-> Bourjois Khol & Control Untra black on water/tight lines
-> MAC Impeccable Brow Pencil in Taupe
-> TOPSHOP Kohl pencil in Thistle on the lower lash line and blend it out with the lavender shade in MAC "In the gallery" quad
-> Heroine Make Long and Curl mascara + Fiberwig mascara as base(for the lengthening)

Products in Yellow font were given by the company for trying out.

I'm using ZA Plumper Lip Gloss in #10 Strawberry Soda

Without flash...

This pic was abit "noisy" I forgot to set the ISO back from 800... well.. it's the only pic that show off the curls.. I didnt do anything.. Just tie up in a bun and then release it (wa la.... wavy hair~) but it doesnt last long! lolx

Below were taken with flash... (lolx at peapea's stare)

Smell my lips.... gloss...

LOTD with the Physicians Formula Shimmer strips palette

By everbluec · February 5, 2011 · 0 Comments ·

I'm using mostly the greens in the Physicians Formula Shimmer strips for green eyes palette.

With flash

Products used...

1)Nature Republic Alska Aqua Sunblock cream SPF 35 PA++
2)L'egere White Multi Bbcream SPF 34 and Aqua and shiny pearl bbpowder
3)Sleek Pixie Pink blush

(Products highlight in grey were given by the company.. I did not pay for it)

The bbcream pack I received last June(2010)

1)Urban Decay Primer Potion as base
2)Physicians Formula Shimmer strips for green eyes (Check out the swatches)
3)Bourjois Khol & Control blk liner on water/tight lines
4)Nature Republic Pearl liner on lower lash line
5)MAC Blacktrack to line near the lashes and MAC IVY ontop of it.
6)Canmake coloring eyebrow
7)Fiberwig mascara as base and top it with Heroine Make Lengthening+curl mascara

Oh I forgot to mention that I use a skintone eyeshadow to cleanup/highlight my brows.

A very simple green lotd... actually I can use the bourjois liner to liner my eyes instead of MAC blacktrack! lolx ...  I didnt use any lip products.. just a thin layer of lipbalm.

Last month, I decided to give Urban Decay Primer Potion another chance and end up loving it! It works as good as Too Faced Shadow insurance!

Pink LOTD with Bio-essence: Bio Platinum BBcream(Review)

By everbluec · December 16, 2010 · 0 Comments ·

Ingredients list...

The Bio-Platinum bbcream from various lighting....

swatches from various lighting...

Bio Platinum is the lightest from the 3 Bio-essence bbcreams I've received.

Before bbcream(with sunblock)

With bio-platinum bbcream...

The Bio Platinum bbcream is the lightest of all... and it does suit my skintone much better then the Mulit-Effect bbcream. Dewy finishing.. but it kinda look flat on my skin.

My review after using the bbcream for 3days
-> The texture of the bbcream was watery, buildable for up to good coverage.( but it might look thick on the skin)
-> The shade was just nice for my skintone, but when blended out on the face, it look abit flat..
-> Good coverage, conceal redness, minor scarring and pores. But doesn't conceal purplish/blue-ish dark circles (still need a corrector for it) For extra coverage, dap extra bbcream on the the areas that needed more coverage and the dap dap pat pat until it fully absorbed.
-> Oil control was abit better compare to Bio Multi-effect bbcream... Still not so good on oil control department. After aabout 2 to 3 hrs my nose start to shine.. well, I notice that my forehead start to feel greasy and shiny too.
-> The finishing doesn't feel too wet/oily/sticky. Just nice, but still need loose powder to set it. (I used the SANA loose powder for the radiance/dewy finishing)
-> Not sure whether it will whitening/reduces wrinkles or fine lines/skin repair, cos I only use it for afew days.... too soon to tell!.
-> Good moisturizing bbcream
-> Might look ashy on darker skintone...
->When I blended out the bbcream, I do feel atiny particles in the cream... but it will melt out after I pat it onto my skin
-> The cream look nude and dewy when I swatch it at the back of my hand... but it look flat and abit dull on my face (Guess cos my face was kinda redish compare to my pale hand) ((Do remember to swatch a tiny bit around your jaw line to test the shade...))

Products Used...

(above pic taken without flash)

Merry Christmas!! (Check out the tiny hat... kekeke, my sis gave it to me.. cute right? ^_^)

Aiyo... blur... but I like the feel...

Now with some lip products.. (I'm using)

With peapea...

Guess what peapea was staring at?????

Candy!!!!

LOTD: Midnight Dream

By everbluec · July 3, 2010 · 0 Comments ·

Using Majolica Majorca Blooming Dream eyes- Midnight Dream palette...

A palette that look like a tiny book

(Made in Japan ^__^)

This is by far, the most pigmented, doesn't have chunky glitters, smooth and creamy eyeshadows from Majolica Majorca! (If you used to dislike their eyeshadows... go swatch this at the stores(this range only sell in selected Watsons outlets).

The eye's gloss was pretty.. but the texture was abit oily (don't layer ontop of your eyeshadows... it gonna be messy. Good for lining your lower lash lines.)

I follow the packaging instructions on this LOTD

The eye's gloss was abit hard to work with! I end up dapping off the excess wax on my lower lash lines (I just not use to glossy look! lolx)
The color was soft and sweet.. good for everyday look

Products use:: On Face
- L'oreal UV perfect (MAT) SPF30 PA++ -
- Skin79 The Oriental Bbcream
- Silica Loose powder to set (sometimes I MSF to set)
- Bobbi Brown Peach corrector for undereye dark circles
- MAC instant chic
- MAC ever hip lipstick(I just dap abit and blend it with my finger)

Products use:: On eyes
-MAC Paintery paintpot as base
Follow by the instructions on the packaging(refer to the above pic)
-Eyeliner: MAC PearlGlide Intense Eye Liners: Designer purple
- MAC chromagraphic pencil in (NC15-NW20) on waterline
- Urban Decay 24/7 liner in Zero on tightline
-On the brows.. K palette 24hrs tattoo brow's liner(shade 01) to fill up my brows
- Maquillage Brow's wax #77
- Majolica Majorca Lash bone (primer- for the curl)
- Majolica Majorca Lash Enamel Garmour Volume on
(Products hightlighted in blue were given to me by the company)

The color was wash off in the below pics :(

On my nails: China Glaze For Audrey
