Check out and got the Urban Decay The Vice Palette, last Saturday at Singapore Sephora ION Pre-Launch.....

I have been wanting to get this ever since I saw it on youtube and blogs!!!! The colors, texture and the packaging are so nice... especially the colors! They were all new colors with new formulation. When I swatched them, it does feel more "solid"(I means the shadows were nicely/tighly pressed down.

If you didn't own any Urban Decay Palette or eyeshadow... this is a good palette to start with, it got almost all the shades you need from base, crease to highlight shades.

Laced would be a good transistion for fair to medium skintone.

All the colors texture are frosty except, Jagged(glittery texture) and Chaos (matte texture)

I'm so loving Junkie, Chaos, Penny Lane, Occupy Blitz(Ming would love this.. I tried it on my lids and it sooooooo pretty) and Desperation <3<3<3

When I first look at the palette, Noise reminds me of Junkshow from the Urban Decay 15 Year anniversary eyeshadow collection palette... but when I swatched Noise.. I know it feel and look abit different.

Here's the side by side swatches...

Junkshow is more purpish pink where Noise is pow wow HOTPINK...
Junkshow has a satin sheen finishing.

KATE Mineral Liquid Foundation [Review]

Few months ago, I won this Liquid foundation thru Cosmopolitan Singapore Facebook page giveaway. (They ran a series of products giveaway from various brands almost everyday back in March). I won the KATE Mineral Liquid foundation in shade OC-C (this is the common shade)

I can't find the ingredients list in english for this product.

This shade OC-C was like about 1 to 2 shades darker then my usual foundation shade... but on my face, it wasn't that dark (just made me look abit warm).

For your info:::
My face is way darker then my whole body... so I need a brighter foundation to even out everything. I have KATE Lasting cover liquid foundation in BR-C.. the shade match me really well!

Here's the side by side comparison of the shades.

Half face... on strong day lighting, the shade doesn't look soo obvious.. but it does cover and even out all the uneven complexion.

When the foundation set.. my face does look abit warm (tired).
(it's not the foundation fault, I just need the "right" shade- lolx)

Anyway, put the shade aside... and focus on how I feel about the foundation after using it for a couple of weeks.

The foundation shade is buildable from sheer to light medium coverage
Foundation feel pretty moist/watery, easy to spread around the face.
Feels like a bbcream texture
Doesn't feel too heavy nor cakey on the skin
Pretty Lightweight
Last a good 5-8hrs depend on the weather conditions. (If I stay indoor- it can last up to 8hrs)
Doesn't cause any irritation
Doesn't cause any break-out during the time I use this foundation.
it has a semi matte finishing
oil control was pretty average

Side note:
My skin has become more and more better... skin doesn't feel dry nor tight
(but do look abit dry after applying foundation)
I'm back to mild oily combination skin ^__^
My nose and forehead will start to (shine) after afew hours...

I dont look much different under bright day lighting.

I haven't been hauling much (Ahem* that's what I like to think so) and I hardly blog about the stuff I got... Well, I still do but very selective~ lolx

Anyway, recently... I joined a drugstore spree (when they are having 20% off) and Ming(miwitch) tag along too :b

Foundations and brushes that we can't get in Singapore! [Not all are mine... half of them belong to Ming]

I ordered 3 foundations... Check out the shades.. this are all their lightest shade and Instant Age rewind look so pinkish and abit dark from the bottle (I tried it, and it's abit warm.. but doesn't make me look like a lobster)

Maybelline FIT ME is a perfect match.. but the coverage was so sheer that I don't feel like I was applying anything.. but I do like the dewy finishing and it does even out my complexion.

I havent try the Loreal Magic smooth souffle yet...

The sponge can be remove (I didn't use that.. lolx.. I just turn and click out the foundation from the tube)

Got some brushes too... all feel sooooooooooo soft! <3

These kabuki are abit smaller then I've imagined.. but not too tiny like baby kabuki la...

I got these 3 item recently (I will do a seperate swatch post on the UD Naked2)

I did got some Lancome, Ettusais, Rachel K CC cream (those were part of my last year's Christmas presents) and some random makeup item from my sisters.

Most of the time, I just buy random skincare products (especially facial spa water mist), cleansing water, cleansing oil and re-purchase of shampoo, moisturizer and other random body lotions. (Not so exciting... )

So do you all have any impulse hauling???

A couple weeks ago.. lovely ming(miwitch) and Verlyn(luvverlyn) gave me some lovely bday presents and Thank You, I love them all <3<3<3<3<3<3

The Canon len mug is really cute... I will use it to house my liners/brushes instead of using it for "coffee".

Twist & Pout lip moisturizer was super sweet.. it's like applying sugar on the lips!!! (The product pot can be remove and the pretty casing can use to store other stuff!!!

Received this palette during the Urban Decay BOS IV One day Launch event on 1st Oct 2011.

It big and heavy!

I like the popped out butterflies~

The neutral shades Skimp and Zephyr are a good nice highlight shades

Cobra is a black base with gold shimmers (it look olive green at some angle)

Crystal doesn't feel as creamy as compare to the others UD shades.. it was pretty sheer and have a pearly finishing.

I know, this wasn't THAT bright and colorful as compare to the other BOS(s).... but it does have some pretty gorgeous shades, if you never own any UD eyeshadows, this is a good palette to start with :)

Urban Decay BOS IV One day Launch event

One day sale of the Urban Decay Book of Shadows IV last Saturday (1st OCT 2011) and I was invited down to be the eye's model for Eric Jimenez to do a demo on ^.~ (I kept forgetting to tweet about it.. haiya~ guess my twitter is kinda useless right?lolx)

And guess who I bumped into?? Sophia, Amy and Jerlaine!!! And thanks to Sophia... I got alot of pics to share ^__^

At 3pm sharp... Urban Decay MUAs and Eric Jimenez start blowing the whistle... and I can see a group of ppls rushing over to the counter to get the BOS IV. (Happening!!!)

(Something's somethings: Those Sephora's brushes were really soft and feel really nice on the skin!!!)

I was kinda surprised when he put primer on my face(after the eye's makeup), since I already have base on!! But he mention that it's ok for the primer because the setting and foundation he used were all powder base. (Interesting.. I only knew that silicon primer can be use after foundation.. and he was setting the primer before using the mineral foundation! Woot~)

I usually go with a thicker eyeliners to make my eyes look wider... (I'm not used to this.. kekeke) but I love the color combos and it blends so nicely on my lids!

After a long day of shopping, eating under humid weather... all pics below were taken around 1am (after 9hrs +)

The undereyes look dry.. The 24/7 concealer pencil was pretty amazing, it doesn't look patchy.cakey on my skin(applied ontop of my base) .. but it's was abit too drying for my undereyes areas (becos it's oil free- not moisturizing enough for my dry undereyes). I'm totally impress with the All Nighter Long-Lasting Makeup Setting Spray My foundation still look good, plus the eyeshadow stay on nicely without creasing (normally UD primer creases badly on me(or maybe I didn't apply alot, lolx)

I'm wearing the primer+eyeshadows and it didn't crease!!!! Check out the liquid liner.. it still look good. (I will try out the liquid liner again to see whether it's the eyeliner being good or was it the setting spray that was powerful!)

After the session, I did try to tone down the dark outer crease abit.. but the "All Nighter Long-Lasting Makeup Setting Spray" was so powerful that no matter how I try to smudge it.. it still remains the same (Powerful right, I'm so wanna get it! kekeke)

I will try to recreate this look again, but with a thicker eyeliners(kekekeke)
