Hada Labo SHA Hydrating Lotion in Nano Formula [Review]

By everbluec · August 28, 2012 · 0 Comments ·

Sometimes back Hada Labo released a newly reformula Super Hyaluronic Acid lotion with new ‘nano’ hyaluronic acid molecule. The New ‘Nano’ Super Hyaluronic Acid boosts its hydration power, and now enables full and thorough hydration from skin surface to deep within.

The new ‘nano’ hyaluronic acid molecule is 1/20 the size of the normal hyaluronic acid’s. This enables penetration to areas deep within the skin. The other two hyaluronic acid, ‘Normal’ and ‘Super’ hydrate skin closer to the surface.

With a superior combination of all three hyaluronic acid (Nano, Super, Normal), Hada Labo Hydrating range can give your skin a deeper and fuller hydration.

  • Fragrances Free
  • Mineral oil Free
  • Alcohol Free
  • Colorant Free
  • Skin pH balanced
  • Low Irritating

Ingredients list (click to enlarge)

The new reformula Hada Labo SHA Hydrating Lotion Nano consistency feel pretty much similar to the original version. Only can feel abit of the different when applied on the skin.

  • The lotion does feel watery with alittle bit of slimy consistency.
    But it doesn't make skin feel "sticky" nor "stuffy" once the lotion absorbed into the skin.
  • Not as sticky as the original version
  • Fast absorption and the nano lotion sit very well on the skin
  • The finishing of the lotion feel moist and "cooling"(on the skin surface)
  • Skin does feel refreshing and soothing (I like~)
  • Moisturizing
  • Skin feel supple
    (It might be the cream that I'm using, but this lotion does "help" to boost up the hydrating level)
  • Calm "warm/inflammation" skin
  • Safe to apply around eye areas.
  • lightweight
    The consistency of the "nano" lotion feel abit more lighter and watery as compare to the original lotion when I apply it on the skin.
  • doesnt cause any break-out
  • No irritation
  • Doesn't crash with the skincare products that I'm using/rotating
    (brand:: For beloved One, Origins or Elizabeth Arden products)

I prefer to pour alot of the SHA lotion on cotton pad (just soak up the cotton square pad) and start patting all over my face.  The lotion feel lightweight and absorb fast and nicely onto the skin.

I do notice that (from my previous experiences) - the lotion start to lose abit of the efficacy after opening the products for more then 2 to 3 months. This huge bottle can last up to 3 to 5 mths depend on the usage (if use about 2 to 3 drops each time). So please use generously.. else it would be a waste if you keep the products for too long.

.

.

About my skin condition :
My skin start to feel abit dry again but NOT tight (thankfully)
T-zone still feel normal (abit oily - only on nose)
I guess I should resign to my fate that NOW my skin is dry combination.
I think age play a huge part in changing my skin condition.
I feel greateful as long as it doesn't feel tight and painful! ^_^

Hada Labo Super Hyaluronic Acid Moisturizing UV Milk with SPF50 PA+++

By everbluec · May 22, 2012 · 0 Comments ·

[Review]

Last Month Hada Labo brings in their Super Hyaluronic Acid Moisturizing UV Milk with SPF50 PA+++ to our sunny island!

This multipurpose UV milk has 3-in-1 benefits:

  • UV Protection - With SPF50 PA+++, users can be assured of a high, broad-spectrum protection against UVA and UVB.

  • Hydration - Like the rest of the Hada Labo products, Hada Labo Super Hyaluronic Acid Moisturizing UV Milk SPF50 PA+++ reaches deep into the skin to moisturize the skin with 3 types of Hyaluronic Acid. It locks in moisture for a soft, supple and radiant skin for all day.

  • Makeup Base - as a base, foundation can glide easily on the smoother skin after applying it. The light, water like texture makes it easy for an even application and is quickly absorbed without stickiness. The UV milk is transparent, leaving no white residues.

The UV milk is gentle on skin, as it is free of artifical ingredients such as fragrances, mineral oil, alcohol and colorant that may burden the skin. This UV milk also keeps the skin's PH balanced, and is rigorusly tested for low skin irritation.

Ingredients list...

Here's the swatches of the UV milk...
[Left- taken without flash][Right - taken with flash]

After smoothing out the UV milk... it does leave a glossy firm and feel abit oily (not those thick type of greasy feel)

[Above taken with flash]
[below taken without flash]

Since last month, I have start applying all sunblock, sunscreen on bare skin before moisturizer (I love it!!)
Click here to read why I apply sunblock/sunscreen first.

Here's my thoughts on::
Hada Labo Super Hyaluronic Acid Moisturizing UV Milk with SPF50 PA+++

  • Very moisturizing
  • Cos of the high moisturizing factor, my skin look supple after applying the UV milk
  • The texture of the UV milk was very watery and light
  • Feels very greasy when first applied on the skin, but at the same time the greasiness feel light and watery(not those thick sticky type)
  • Took awhile for it to absorb, but once absorbed, skin doesn't look so glossy (just a slight sheen)
    (Simply just use a piece of tissue to dap off the excess serum and shine away before primer/foundation)
  • Doesn't leave any white cast on the skin.
  • Not flakey nor causing any residue
  • Doesn't cause any skin irritation nor cause me to break-up with the greasiness
  • Doesn't even out nor brighten up skin complexion like a normal makeup base.
  • When layer, it won't change the formula of the bbcream/foundation.
  • Doesn't feel heavy nor thick on the skin ( very light weight sun milk)
  • It does work well as a base for foundation (Not for minimizes pores, lines or even out complexion)
  • oil control wise was pretty average - I have no say on it because my skin was kinda dry combination(for the past few months)
  • My skin didn't feel tight nor dry after a few hours.

    The sunblock powder was quite good, cos these few days, weathers were so HOT and Humid...
    My face didn't burn and with the high moisturizing factor, my skin was well hydrating and doesn't causes any new inflammation due to crazy weathers.

    And last Friday, attended an event at Sentosa and silly us didn't know that there have shutter bus at VIVO, we took tram and walked about 70 meters under HOT sun without any shades!!!! (haiyo~) Luckily didn't burn my face!!!

    Oh ya....  I like the sheen it gives when I apply my cream moisturizer on top of this UV milk, my skin look hydrated and smooth. And it doesn't make foundation feel cakey, patchy or floating on top of my skin (you know with so many layers of products before the foundation).

    [note:: I have dry combination skin now.. only abit oily on my nose and forehead on humid days.]

    For normal to oily combination skin, this UV milk is hydrating enough to skip moisturizer.

    Suitable for daily usage on the face, neck and body.

    Price: SD$19.90 (38ml)
    The Hada Labo Super Hyaluronic Acid Moisturizing UV Milk SPF 50 PA+++ is available exclusively in Watsons.

    The New Hada Labo Hydrating Cleansing Oil [Review]

    By everbluec · December 6, 2011 · 4 Comments ·

    [Review]

    Received The New Hada Labo Hydrating Cleansing oil back late October and after using it almost everyday for a month(I just finished the bottle) and now review time ^_^

    The 2 key ingredients :: High Purity Olive Oil and Super Hyaluronic Acid

    [Click to enlarge]

    Ingredients list...
    This doesn't contain any mineral oil... which I was kinda having some doubts on it cleansing power(cos normally it won't be able to remove/melt off waterproof mascara)

    The texture of the oil was abit thick...

    OK... here are the test I did on the back of my hand.....
    (I swatched foundation, waterproof mascara, brow's wax, lipstick, liners, eyeshadows and ects...)

    Spread the oil all over the back of my hand... let then lightly massage to dissolve the makeup... add in atiny bit of water to emulsify to a milky texture.... and then rinise off the oil.

    The stain of the 2 hard to remove waterproof mascaras (Fasio and Majolica Majorca mascaras).

    After using the cleansing oil for a month..
    ->>> Doesn't cause any break-out nor irritation on my skin
    ->>> The oil was abit thick ...  easy to spread around the face(skin)
    ->>> Emulsify to thick creamy milky texture(I like) and it lift up base and colors' makeup pretty well
    ->>> Need to soak abit loner on lashes or double cleanse to remove waterproof mascara
    ->>> The oil was easy to rinse off without feeling greasy
    ->>> Skin doesn't feel stuffy
    ->>> The moisturizing factor was pretty good
    My face doesn't feel tight after I rinise off the oil.

    Once again, Mineral Oil wasn't proven to be a bad ingredients and it surely won't clog pores. Because pores will clogged no matter what you use if you didn't cleanse your skin well!

    How I use this cleansing oil is the same as what I use on all water soluble cleansing oil(that will emulsify)
    -> Apply 3 to 4 pumps of oil on the whole face (I like to use more... so that I won't be pulling my skin)
    -> Another 2-3 pumps on my eyes (close my eyes and lightly massage the oil over my lashes to fully soak my lashes with mascara)
    -> Wet my fingers and light massage the whole face and focusing more on my lashes to melt off the mascara
    -> Rinse off the oil.. until skin don't feel oily.
    -> Look at the mirror and check whether there's any residue... (if got... pat dry the skin and repeat the above steps) and follow with my normal cleanser. (I do double cleanse with my facial cleanser to ensure that I have thoroughly cleanse off all the oil on my skin to prevent buildup of oil in the pores)

    I tried the water-base before... it's only meant for base or light makeup and please avoid removing eyemakeup with it.. cos it's sting/burn the eye!!!! (Doesn't remove waterproof makeup well especially mascara!)

    Price: SD$20.90
    Available exclusively at all Watsons from 1 November 2011

    Hada Labo Retinol Lifting & Firming Lotion

    By everbluec · August 1, 2011 · 0 Comments ·

    [Review]

    In May 2011, Hada Labo introducing their latest addition "Retinol Lifting & Firming" Range to Singapore.

    This range come with 3 premium and potent ingredients : Vitamin A retinol, Hydrolyzed Collagen and Hada Labo's signature ingredient "Super Hyaluronic Acid(SHA)" (Ingredients to restore youthful bounciness of our skin)

    Hada labo's Lifting & Firming Range stays true to its PERFECT X SIMPLE brand philosophy - using only the finest and purest ingredients without unnecessary additives, colorant, alcohol, fragrances and mineral oils.

    Ingredients list...

    The texture of the lotion feel really similar to the Hada Labo Super Hyaluronic Acid Hydrating Lotion.. just abit thicker. The lotion has a yellowish tint to it.

    My sister and I have finished the Hada Labo Super Hyaluronic Acid Hydrating Lotion so I dont have any product left for comparison side by side. (so I just include a pic I took back then..For review on the Super Hyaluronic Acid Hydrating range- click here)

    I prefer to pour the lotion on a cotton pad and pat it onto my whole face(I wanna make sure that the product was fully absorbed into my skin and not just on the surface)

    Review::
    I have been using this for about 3weeks plus and stop afew days inbetween.

    My first impression was that this lotion feel abit more thick and "slimy" as compare to the Original Super Hyaluronic Acid Hydrating(SHA) Lotion. I didn't use my hand to pat this lotion into my skin so I'm not sure whether this will feel "sticky" like the SHA.

    I pour a good amount of the Hada Labo Retinol Lifting & Firming Lotion onto a cotton pad.. wipe it onto my whole face before I start patting my skin.. focusing more on trouble areas, like my forehead (alot of fine lines)and inner cheeks, near my nose (huge pores).

    Feel really moisturizing and soothing... after aweek of using the lotion twice a day.. I feel that my skin feel abit more supple and tight. I still see my fine lines on my foreheads.. pores was abit minimized(well, I think it the result of using the Vichy pores serum - Hada Labo just keep the area hydrated).

    BUT.. my skin start to have some tiny red and painful bumps around my inner cheeks... so I stop using the lotion for a few days for it to heal first. It start to heal very soon(cos I'm using LMS spotlight to speed up the healing!)

    It so near my T-zone(which is the oilier part of most combination to oily skin) so rich products will more likey to cause breakout. (I thought it wont cos I don't experiences any breakout when I'm using the SHA lotion)

    I start using the lotion again(after the bumps have flaten), and I dont use it everyday. I rotated it with my normal toner lotion(Sana Nameraka Honpo: Soy lotion RICH or Essential Lift Fortifying Toner) and it work so well NOW.

    This lotion need abit of time to pat and absorb into the skin because the texture was abit thicker as compare to watery toner lotion. And if you ask me which Hada Labo lotion I prefer.. I would say The Retinol Lifting & Firming Lotion. This just feel much soothing, moisturizing and absorb better.

    The full range of the Hada Lado Retinol Lifting & Firming range.

    Hada Labo is available at all Watsons in Singapore.

    Price list:
    Hada Lado Retinol Lifting & Firming Lotion - SD$25.90 (170ml)
    Hada Lado Retinol Lifting & Firming Essence - SD$34.90 (30g)
    Hada Lado Retinol Lifting & Firming Milk - SD$25.90 (140ml)
    Hada Lado Retinol Lifting & Firming Cream - SD$28.90 (50g)
    Hada Lado Retinol Lifting & Firming Mask - SD$23.90 (20mlx4sheets)

    Review: SANA Natural Resource for Sensitive Skin

    By everbluec · September 11, 2010 · 4 Comments ·

    SANA Natural Resource Cleansing Oil

    Let see how watery this cleansing oil are ^__^

    Add in a little of water to emulsify the oil (it's actually more milky then this... )

    My thoughts::
    Well, most of you already know that I love this kind of cleansing oil (which need to emulsify before washing off).. so from my experiences, almost  all this type of cleansing oils were really GOOD!!!! (The differences was the texture and the cleansing power).

    This cleansing oil feels like almost all the cleansing oil that I've tried and love(I have tried this cleansing oil before.. so when I received this I was over the top! lolx). I prefer cleansing oil that we apply dry on the face(with dry hands) and emulsify to a milky texture before washing off with water. Personally, I find that this type of cleansing oil are most suitable for oily combination or sensitive skin. (It doesn't clogged up the pores or irritate the hell out of my sensitive skin).

    -> the cleansing oil is light and watery(easy to spread around the whole face without using too much)
    -> have a nice and refreshing scents
    -> Good cleansing power (removed waterproof makeup well.. especially mascara from Majolica Majorca)
    Just need to sock the lashes abit longer(by pressing lightly over the lashes with 2 fingers) with the oil to melt off the waterprood mascara.
    -> emulsify and wash off very easily without feeling greasy or tightness on the skin
    -> Skin feel smooth and soft

    SANA Natural Resource Foamed Wash

    My thoughts:
    From the website, it said that this foamed wash will removes impurities and dead skin completely and the foam is very gentle on our skin.
    -> The foam was really dense...
    -> Cleanse my face really well(my skin feel really clean!!!!!!)
    -> doesn't make my skin feel tight or dry after I towel dry(pat dry my face)
    -> Didn't cause any break-out on me
    -> Mild enough for my sensitive skin.. yet good enough for my oily combination skin.

    I feel that it cleanse the sebum released on my skin surface very well but doesn't strip off the moisture on/under the skin. Because I do not feel any dryness or tightness after I cleanse my face (Do I made any sense here??? The feeling was like...you know when you slide your finger on a clean plate.. it got that kind of feel.. but surprising the skin doesn't feel tight/dry!)

    SANA Natural Resource Skin Lotion M(which is a toner)

    My thoughts:
    According to the website, this is a rich skin lotion that absorbs well into the skin and prep it for lotion/moisturizer. I find the the it was pretty light in texture and normal for a toner(doesn't feel that rich.. just average)

    I soak up a cotton pad, wipe it all over my face before patting it.. I pat until I feel that my skin feel cool(use the back of your hand to feel it.. )when it feel cooling, it means that the lotion/toner was welly absorbed into the skin. (You can feel that the skin was pretty moist and supple)

    The lotion doesn't have a slimy texture (like hada labo and most of the toner, I've tried.. even Biotherm SOS also feel atiny bit slimy).. it's just very watery!
    -> doesn't irritate my skin.
    -> Absorb really fast
    ->Nice refreshing and calming scent
    ->It work really well with the Milk lotion and cream.

    SANA Natural Resource Essence Lotion a

    My thoughts::
    According to their website, this essence was meant for dry, damage skin and it's a rich essence for special treatment.

    The texture was abit thicker compare to the skin lotion.. but if I was to compare this essence to a normal essence, it's way lighter and watery. It doesn't feel that rich.. but it a nice extra step before using moisturizer/milk lotion/cream.

    But I do find that when I'm having a bump.. it will made my bump to become more reddish and abit painful. So I guess it does feel abit too rich for irrated skin. So I avoid using this when I'm having some skin inflammation bumps(due to the hot/humid weather.. the famous weather's bump! lolx) on my lower cheeks. If your are someone who have irriated/acne prone skin.. you can skip this.

    SANA Natural Resource Milk Lotion

    My thoughts::
    This was a pretty normal milk lotion(it feel like a normal light moisturizer which was meant for acne prone skin). I do not find it too special, just average.. but I believe it would be good for acne prone skin.. cos it was light weight yet moisturizing enough without irritate the bumps(acnes) or cause any dryness on the skin.

    Personally, I find that this milk lotion wasn't moisturizing enough for me... but what surprising was that it doesn't make my skin feel dry. I did not find any dry patches on my drier skin(which is around my upper cheeks). I'm just very picky.. I prefer intense moisturizing products that doesn't feel greasy or too rich/thick in texture(lolx)

    -> The Milk lotion was pretty light in texture
    -> Non sticky
    -> Absorb pretty well into the skin
    -> Like the other Natural Resource products have a nice refreshing scent
    -> Doesn't feel too heavy on my skin nor causing any break-out

    SANA Natural Resource Cream

    The cream was pretty thick and dense(is that the righth word??) not watery... but..

    When you rub the cream on your palm.. it turn into this watery texture (I LOVE)

    My thoughts::
    This is a nice cream... it was pretty thick in texture(as you can see from the above pics). But it doesn't feel greasy or sticky at all! And when you rub the cream on the palms.. it turn into this light and watery texture(amazingly in love with it) and when I applied this on my skin.. it feel so light and nice!

    -> Doesn't feel greasy or thick when applied on the skin
    -> Very moisturizing
    -> Absorb really well
    -> Skin feel soft and supple
    -> Doesn't cause any break-out, even when I applied this over my "weather's bumps" it doesn't irritate "them" at all!
    -> I'm so in love with the scent.. so relaxing and refreshing

    SANA Natural Resource Moist Skincare powder 24h

    My thoughts::
    This 24h moisture powder is a night time powder(use before you go to bed) was to seal in moisture after your skincare routine. And it make your skin feel smooth if you don't like the way your skin feel after applying skincares.

    The powder is super fine and make your skin feel smooth. I've tried this before and I love it.. cos when I'm not sleeping in AC room, after applying skincares.. skin will have this wet kind of feels and after awhile my skin will start to feel abit sticky(due to humid weather and my combination skin).. by applying this powder.. my skin feel powdery smooth. I didn't use this often as I do not feel any wetness on my skin(cos I'm sleeping in AC most of the time now.. lolx.. I need to get a new fan.. I miss sleeping in the wind.. lolx)  :P

    My overall thougts on this skincares range:
    I do not find that it was super amazing.. but it was Good! I have sensitive skin and my face always have abit of redness on my cheeks... when I start using this range, I feel that the redness on my upper cheeks was tone down ALOT (amazing!) ... but it doesn't fade my acne's scarring(well.. it was not meant to fade/whiten the skin! lolx.. I'm just hope it will! heehee)

    When I'm using the whole range in the morning and night for the first 2 weeks.. I find that the moisturizing level was pretty average(not intense enough for my liking).. but I DO NOT have any dry patches on skin!!!.. I find this pretty COOL.. normally, if the products wasn't moisturizing enough. I will spotted afew dry patches around my face especially on my upper cheeks.. but I found none. So I guess it does work from within my skin.. I means under the skin surface(?!?).

    But because of our "on and off" hot and humid weathers.. I have some "weather's bumps" (skin inflammation bumps) on my lower right cheeks.. then I knew that I need some intense moisturizing to keep my skin well hyrate to reduce the chance of having more "weather's bumps". So I rotated Hada Labo/Aqua Moist/Aqualable MO skincares products on day time (I find these 3 products are GREAT moisturizing products yet still feel light on my skin). And using SANA Natural Resouce at night. And I love the combo!!! My "Weather's bumps" were calmed, reduce alor and that make me very happy ^___^ heheehe

    And bad news was... recently I have been doing alot of power walking with my sisters(this week)... try having to walk for more then 2-3hrs under burning hot sun.. hai~ (My body feels good... not so much for my lower cheeks!)

    I did use sunblock.. but sunblock cant help much if my skin was dehydrated! lolx) No worries, have been doing alot of hydrating works to calm my angry "weather's bumps" ^_^  plus drinking alot of water.

    (Do look out for my other entry on the makeup range ^__^)

    Here are the breakdown on the day times moisturizing brands I've mention above::
    1) Hada Labo
    -> Hada Labo being the most rich in texture. It feel abit thick compare the the other 2 brands
    -> intense moisturizing, but feel abit sticky
    Read the whole review on the Hada Labo skincares ->> here <<-

    2) AquaMoist
    This feel almost like Hada labo.. it just a lighter version of Hada Labo.
    Read the whole review ->> here <<-

    3)Shiseido AquaLable
    This is the most lightweighted intense moisturizing range compare to the above 2.
    Rich and intense moisturizing factor yet feel so light on the skin.

    Read more about other SANA products plus new release on this ->> entry <<-

    I know.. have been doing alot of reviewing entries lately, party because... I have been too lazy to update(lolx..) hence all reviews being push together :P  I have a couple of LOTD entries coming up soon (And if you have any colors that you would love to see me do on my eyes/request.. let me know thru email / PM / comment / tweet (anyway you like.. as long as it reaches me.)

    Review: JuJu Cosmetics AquaMoist

    By everbluec · July 7, 2010 · 13 Comments ·

    I received/blogged about this range of products around May (Click here to read the details product informations). I have been using this range for around 2 to 3 weeks before I start using Shiseido Aqualable(review coming up soon).

    AquaMoist was very similar to Hada Labo.. it's Low acidity, Fragrance free, Color free, Mineral Oil free, animal ingredients free. Even though both brands contain Hyaluronic Acid.. but it work abit differently.

    Hada Labo are popular for it Super Hyaluronic Acids(combination of 3 differents type of Hyaluronic acids). Where AquaMoist are more focus on Bio-Hyaluronic Acid and 100% Hyaluronic Acid essence.

    JUJU AQUAMOIST MOISTURIZING WASHING FOAM

    This cleansing wash was thick.. the texture when lather up was kinda like mousse

    ->It cleanse really well.. doesn't feel too weak for combination/oily skin.
    ->Hydrating, doesn't make my face feel tight! But it will start to feel abit tight if I leave my face bare without any moisturizer after I step out of the shower for more then 10 mins. (We should apply skincare within the first 5mins after we step out of our bath/shower.)
    ->Doesn't cause any break-out on me.

    JUJU AQUAMOIST MOISTURIZING LOTION

    The texture of this lotion(which is a toner) was watery.. similar to alot of toners.
    You can either drip afew drops on your palm and pat it on your whole face or you can use it on a cotton pad(like you would normally do with a western toner) I use cotton pad to apply this lotion on my face(cos it was too watery).

    It feel refreshing, doesn't feel greasy or cause me any break-out. Not too rich for combination/oily skin .

    JUJU AQUAMOIST MOISTURIZING GEL CREAM

    The texture of this gel cream look like a watery gel type... but when you rub it against your palms it become a thick and sticky texture. It was very sticky when you pat this product onto the skin, but it absorbed very fast. Skin feel really hydrating and supple.

    JUJU AQUAMOIST PURE HYALURONIC ACID 100% ESSENCE
    (Contain 100% pure essence of Sodium Hyaluronate)
    (MY star product- My fave!!!! LOVE THIS SO MUCH!)

    A gel like texture essence, not runny. And it was advised to use it at night and after lotion(toner)/moisturizer.

    This essence work like a mask and seals moisture in your skin and nourished for all night long. I apply this after the moisturizing gel cream and when the essence absorbed.. your skin look matte and it feel powdery smooth! (Not Dry but very smooth... kinda like silicon type of smoothness).

    ....................................................

    After using this range for around 2-3weeks, my skin feel smooth, supple and hydrated... It feel really similar to Hada Labo Moisturizing Range (review)

    Aquamoist are::
    1) more sticky...
    2) matte finishing on all products...
    3) More suitable for oily skin
    - cos the cleanser are not as mild as Hada Labo
    - the essence wasn't as thick as the Hada Labo
    4) Doesn't cause any break-out
    5) I can use the full range everyday...
    (Becos I can't use Hada Labo essence everyday- it was too rich!)

    Both AquaMoist and Hada Labo work great on me. Infact I can't find any huge differences between both products except the cleanser and the essence(well the essence was totally different type compare to Hada Labo)

    AquaMoist can be found in Singapore Watsons and Sasa
    For countries outside Singapore you can get the whole range at Beauty Carousel

    Price for the above products::
    JUJU AQUAMOIST MOISTURIZING WASHING FOAM SD$15.00
    JUJU AQUAMOIST MOISTURIZING Lotion SD$12.00
    JUJU AQUAMOIST MOISTURIZING GEL CREAM SD$28.80
    JUJU AQUAMOIST PURE HYALURONIC ACID 100% ESSENCE SD$39.80

    (For my mum and sister - mine already finished and I'm using Aquamoist cleanser now)

    Some close-up of the stuff I got ^__^

    Aqualabel whitening Deep clear oil cleanser
    Can't wait to try this..

    Fasio Brow mascara

    They have 2 shades : 301 and 300
    I got 301- which was a golden yellowish brown
    Where 300 was a bronze reddish brown

    I love the brush applicator! It's a brow's comb brush!
    The formula wasn't watery(I like)

    301 was very similar to Maquillage brow wax in 77
    (I'm SOLD when I swatched the fasio brow mascara- I love the color!!)

    Here's the compare swatches
    Maquillage brow wax 77 and Fasio brow mascara 301
    Fasio one are more yellowish

    With flash

    Without flash

    With flash

    Without flash

    I tried it today and I like it alot!! The formula wasn't watery (unlike Dariya Palty brow's mascara or MAC brow set).. more like Maquillage.. but abit more drier. I think it was because of the brush applicator.. it doesn't grab alot of the formula and it comb and coat my brow's hair really well!!! The color wasn't that shimmery or goldish when it's on my brows!! (love it)

    Review: Hada Labo Super Hyaluronic Acid Hydrating Mask

    By everbluec · June 25, 2010 · 14 Comments ·

    Hada Labo Super Hyaluronic Acid Hydrating Mask
    -> Fragrances Free
    -> Mineral oil Free
    -> Alcohol Free
    -> Colorant Free
    -> Skin pH balanced.
    -> Low Irritationg

    Direction

    I was masking the mask upside down! This was a tip given by Kevin(Taiwanese makeup artist).
    He said that applying skincares while being "upside down"(was that how it was said? Correct me if I'm wrong),it will boost up the blood circulation and enhance the absorption of the products into our skin.

    No need to stay in the position for long...  just 1 to 2 mins will do.   Personally, I find it very relaxing... I was in that position for like about 5mins and almost fall asleep(lolx) and both my doggies were sniffing my wet hair under my bed! (They are having fun playing with my hair! lolx)

    The mask was really hydrating and very soothing! (so relaxing)
    Doesn't sting my face especially around my chin and the skin around my nose. I always experiences stingy sensation for around a min whenever I do a sheet mask or wash off mask(no matter what brands). And this Hada Labo mask was the FIRST that I don't feel anything(LOVE IT)

    After 15mins.. the mask still feel really moist, so after removing the mask, I massage the essence into my skin and when it start to feel abit dry/sticky(not really that sticky.. the stickyness was the same as their Hydrating milk)... I start to pat my face until the essence was fully absorbed.(I prefer patting then massage.. cos less tugging on my skin (You can do whatever make you feel comfortable ^__^)

    After everything was adsorbed, skin feel really smooth(silky smooth) and supple. It last up to 3 to 4days(Impressive!!!!)! Normally the moisturizing factor for a piece of sheet mask won't last that long... mostly around 1 day - some just a few hours! That's why, I always prefer wash off hydrating mask- because the moisturizing/smoothness last longer!

    This is a wonderful discovery for me(lolx)... because I'm lazy!!! Without the fuss of washing after masking and applying skincares... I can see myself using this mask more often.. instead of doing any mask(wash off) once or twice a month! lolx :Þ

    If your skin is de-hydrated and in need of intense moisturizing, before putting on the mask and after the lotion add on the essense! The mask will trap/lock all the goodness into your skin.

    cleanse -> lotion -> essence -> mask

    I really love this mask... Joyce Sept told/warn me that the mask was really sticky! Hmmm... I don't find it too sticky! I kinda LOVE the texture and the soothing feeling when I have this mask on my face. (lolx) I very much prefer the thickness of the essence in this mask compare to alot of sheet masks I've tried(mostly korean masks.) Well.. it's all personal preference.

    Review: Hada Labo Super Hyaluronic Acid Hydrating range

    By everbluec · June 1, 2010 · 16 Comments ·

    A couple weeks ago, I was inviting to the Hada Labo Launch preview :: Click to read more about the event

    Now after trying the products for 2 weeks+(since 12 May)... I can say I'm impressed with Hada Labo! Normally, I find that Japanese Lotion(which is toner) was abit too thick my my liking! But now.. I've totally changed my point of view!

    Before I start:
    Do note that I have combination skin (Oily on the T-zone with dry patchy cheeks). My skin also abit sensitive- as it get red, itchy and painful if the products was too strong or not calming enough. I get blemishes/oil seeds easily if the product was too greasy(I guess that the common problems all combination/oily skin faces) For me, I prefer products that was meant for blemish or sensitive skin.

    About the products::
    All Hada Labo products are
    -> Fragrances Free
    -> Mineral oil Free
    -> Alcohol Free
    -> Colorant Free
    -> Skin pH balanced
    -> Low Irritationg.

    Hada Labo Super Hyaluronic Acid Hydrating Face Wash (SD$12.90)

    My say::
    Hada Labo Super Hyaluronic Acid Hydrating Face Wash
    The texture of the wash when lather up was creamy thick mousse type of foam(Not greasy nor thin type of foam). It feel good when massage on the face and when rinse off, face feel hydrated and smooth. Not at all dying

    However, I felt that this face wash was abit too mild for my combination skin. So I rotate it with my Uriage Anti-blemishes cleanser gel. Maybe I should get their(Hada Labo) AHB/BHA Exfoliating Face Wash. Cos it's gentle and can exfoliate dirt and oil trapped within the pores without being too harsh.

    But the weird thing was.. my youngest sister(who have oily skin- very oily).. she love this face wash! She commented it make her face feel clean and hydrated! (I guess, we all have to really try it to know whether it suit you anot! lolx

    _______________________________________________________
    Hada Labo Super Hyaluronic Acid Hydrating Lotion (SD$22.90)

    My say on::
    Hada Labo Super Hyaluronic Acid Hydrating Lotion
    The texture of this Hydrating Lotion wasn't not like those normal western toner we used before. You know Japanese Toner [which they called it lotion] was always abit thicker... kinda like watery gel type (feel abit slimy.. lolx)

    I only need 2 drops of the lotion, smooth it out on my palms and then pat it onto my face. It absorbed quite fast.

    I didn't follow the method of patting the lotion onto the face like they advised.. I just do a fast and small patting motion all over my face rather then slowly pad, stay and move to the next spot (like they teach in the video[I add] below).

    ->> It doesn't feel that sticky as compare to the esscene and milk
    ->> once it absorbed, it feel like what you will feel like when you applied lotion.. not matt/powdery dry type... just moist.

    ->> This lotion is safe to apply around eye areas.
    After lotion, I will follow up with my eyecream. I don't like to apply eyecream last, because it will not absorb as good after you applied all the other skincare products.

    And when apply the eyecream first, it also created a sheer barrier from the moisturizer/essence which might be too harsh for the skin around the eye areas. This doesn't applied to Hada Labo products, because all their Hydrating range are suitable/safe to use around eye areas (Just my habit.)

    ->> The Hydrating lotion was very hydrating(I love it)..
    But I'm so used to those western toner where it can be treated as double cleaning (Japanese Lotion are more of a skin softener).

    Now, when I skip toner and if I have makeup on before... after shower, I will either use my Biotherm SOS toner or Uriage Cleaning water first (to double cleanse my face) before using Hada Labo Hydrating Lotion (I know, it's abit extra!! But, I just wanna make sure my face was totally clean before patting on the lotion!) Anyway, I enjoy using the lotion, it doesn't cause me any breakout, itchyness or irritation... I just need to get use to doing an extra step (using cleaning water or biotherm Toner).

    .

    After 2weeks plus of using this lotion everyday... I only used this much(This bottle gonna last me afew months! lolx)

    _______________________________________________________

    Hada Labo Super Hyaluronic Acid Hydrating Milk(SD$22.90)

    My say on::
    Hada Labo Super Hyaluronic Acid Hydrating Milk I love the milk, it doesn't feel too heavy on my combination skin and it not greasy at all!! <3 It was so hydrating... my dry patchy cheeks, doesn't feel dry at all after I start using Hada Labo.

    I notice that my skin kinda look more brighter and more hydrated (even from my pics.. with foundation on, my skin look more moist/dewy.. my nose show the most result, it look shiny(I guess it was too hydrated for my nose! lolx), rather then greasy shine and sometimes flaky.

    The texture of the Milk, was like a thick milky gel!
    Doesn't look watery at all... but once I rub it against my palm, it feel so watery and I only need 2 drops for my whole face!
    After the lotion, becos of my skin condition.. I need some anti blemishes products. I will layer on the Uriage Anti-blemishes cream- it prevent breakout, minimize redness/pigmentation and I find that it reduce oil seed super well! Beside Biotherm, I have fall in love with Uriage and now Hada Labo. I find that it's the best moisturising products I've ever used... (Some other moisturizing products I've used were good.. but I still can see abit of flaky around my temples and cheeks. )

    After using Hada Labo... the flaky skin around my dry areas seem to reduce alot! I donno whether is it becos of Hada Labo or the increase of products I've used during my skincare routine! lolx (But I do know that I like my skincare routine now... cos it the best so far)

    ___________________________________
    Hada Labo Super Hyaluronic Acid Hydrating Essence(SD$30.90)

    My say on::
    Hada Labo Super Hyaluronic Acid Hydrating Essence
    Normally, Essence should be used after Lotion before Milk... but I find that this extra step was abit too THICK(hydrating) for my poor combination skin.. I start to have oil seeds around my Jaw line (it not due to PMS/Stress) Once I stop using the essence, my oil seed start to minimize(that how I knew it was cause by the adding in the essence)

    I didn't used essence often, I rotate it with Hydrating Milk(On time when I feel that my skin was abit tight/dry.. I used essence at night instead of Hydrating Milk.)

    The texture of the essence look like serum, very watery when I rub it against my palm.. One pump was enough for the whole face. It was sticky compare to the lotion and milk.. but once it absorbed.. it just feel moist (not sticky/powder/matt)

    Personally, I find that the 3 steps: Lotion, Essence and Milk. Are more suitable for dry to normal skin type For combination/oily skin.. 2 step was enough (Lotion + Milk) or (Lotion + Essence)

    Anyway.. it might also depend on your own skin condition (Some might have oily skin due to dehyration.. so this 3 step might be the cure/answer for your oily skin

    The Milk and essence does feel this sticky if you pat slowly like the CF

    _______________________________________________________

    My over all thoughts on this Hydrating range:
    I do not know which product in this range does the best, but I believe that the lotion does prep up my skin for good absorbtion of moisture! And all products work well with one another. (I would give the most credits to the Lotion and Milk- becos I didn't rotate this 2 products with other products most of the time)

    - very hydrating
    - my skin feel so soft and smooth
    - Skin feel really supple
    - Does brighten up my skin abit (It just look hydrated with brightness.. not dull at all)
    - I kinda notice that my pores around my cheeks(near my nose) minimized abit.
