Last Wednesday(12 May 2010), I was invited by Rohto-Mentholatum(parent company) and Vibes Communications(PR company) to attend their Hada Labo Launch event at Takumi Tokyo at "Marina at Keppel Bay"
This event was to introduce Hada Labo Super Hyaluronic Acid (SHA) Moisturising Lotion(their star product) along with the full ranges in moisturising, whitening and exfoliating.
Me outside of Takumi Tokyo
We were welcome by the simple display of Hada labo key product's Moisturising Lotion
They have various products tester counters setup around the restaurant! I have a good time trying out the products on the back of my hands and arms! heehee.
The event begin with Mr Gabriel Chu's(Senior Brand manager, Rohto-Mentholatum Singapore) Welcome speech and presentation of the Philosophy of Hada Labo and the history of Rohto-Mentholatum Singapore.
From the Press release::
The Star Product, Hada Labo SHA Moisturising Lotion, replenishs and locks in moisture for complete hydration. Super Hyaluronic Acid, an advanced skin hydrating ingredients, retains twice the moisture of Hyaluronic Acid, which is a common ingredient in other skincare products (1gram of Hyaluronic Acid can hold up to 6 litres of water)
Hada Labo SHA Moisturising Lotion was first introdcued in Japan in 2004, quickly became a clear favourite and top-selling cult-product amongst beauty lover, selling 1 bottle every 4 seconds.
Follow by Mr Niwa Takeshi's(Technical, manager, business development and planning, Rohto-Japan) Presentation of Products Technology.
Highlighting the 3 key products (This entry lets focus of HA)
He also demo the process of turning water into Gel
I can say the gel was really solid, not lumpy type.. when he stop pouring, the gel just break off!
Just like their products.. I only need one or 2 drops, it doesn't look that watery... but when I rubbed it against my palms it become watery and juicy enough for my whole face!
The Hada Labo's girls demo on how to pat on the moisturising lotion
Then they gave us each a card to test the moist level of our skin before and after using the Moisturising lotion.
The moisture level testing pen(What is the offical name for this??) and the moisturising lotion
On average.. the moisture level of Singaporean was about 30+
My skin consider moisture enough (by the way we tested on the back of our hand... not face! lolx)
The Foods! The sushi rolls was pretty good! First time trying avocado(I'm not hating it!)
The cheese cake and green tea ice-cream were HEAVEN!
The goodie bag
