I believe most peoples are familiar with Benefit and their series of iconic products.. one of them was The PoreFessional Pro Balm and recently has a new face (packaging).

Personally, I prefer the clean original packaging! lolx But.. I like the colors tone of the New spygal packaging and it does fit well with benefit "cute" and chic image.

The concept of the "Spygal" is pretty cute... she's a spy and she need to be "conceal" lolx

It look moist but when I smooth the balm out... it turn into this silky smooth powder texture...

The effect doesn't look so obvious but can see that the skin feel abit smoother.

Apply a layer of 2way foundation all over the back of my hand...

On the Left ::
which doesn't have any base/primer underneath.

On the Right ::
which have the pro balm as base "grab" the foundation nicely on the skin and kinda enhanced the foundation (more radiant and coverage)

When apply the Benefit Pore Fessional Pro balm on the skin(face), it does minimized the pores. I only apply on my T-zone and on my inner cheeks (where pores are usually gigantic!!!).

*** skin look silky smooth
*** Doesn't feel sticky nor oily
*** Pores were minimized
*** Smooth application of foundation (I try it with 2way cake foundation).
On liquid Foundation - the differences doesn't look too obvious.

I only tried it twice... so I can't tell much (will do a full review soon).

It does reminds me of SANA silicon primer... Benefit Pore Fessional Pro balm feel much lightweight and moist. Although it look tinted, but it doesn't gives any "color" on the skin.

Spreading out...
The shade look dark(warm) on my skin, doesn't provide much "coverage" cos it's a primer BUT, it does even out my uneven complexion.

The shade look much more clearer and darker when I see it with my bare eyes (not thru camera len)
So I tried taking pic from another angle and finally can see abit of shade different.

Have been trying this primer on and off for the pass 2 months

I dont have much blemishes, but I do have inflammation on my nose recently(I HATE it!!!!!!!!!) and this primer feel so soothing on the skin during application.(<3)

• The primer dries down to a soft matte finishing, doesn't make skin feel dry nor tight. Doesn't feel thick nor sticky too!

• When I apply this on the face... it doesn't make my face look dark or warm (all thanks to the Adaptive shade techonology) from a normal distance. BUT, when super close up... can see that it's still abit dark on my face, but nobody will stand that close to "anyone" (right?!? lolx).

• When I layer on foundation, it doesn't change the formula nor the foundation shade.

• My skin was pretty dry, and this doesn't make my skin feel even drier.

• As for the oily control : My nose sometimes will shine and this does help in control the shine.

I sweat alot... and when I sweat my face doesn't look too shiny when I use this primer.

(Note:: My skin shade was pretty fair - always pick the lightest shade from most of the brands foundation and some of them still look quite warm on me)

After posting up the review.. think about a week or two later, my skin have improved alot and NOW.... I'm back to my original skin condition (mild combination skin! Yeah~) Which is why I always reach for this primer to apply on my T-zone.

Using this primer on my nose and chin almost everyday after the review on June (before that I rotate it with other primers). And I noticed a huge improvement on the skin on my nose - white heads kinda reduced (I still use B.liv on my nose at night to soften any "white/black heads formed) and my nose feel smooth and soft. Doesn't have the need to use pores strips.

Any treatments needs time... this primer show good results after using it for 3 months.

It does help in soothing out the dry cuticle (I squeeze out some on the back of my hand and then apply on my cuticle).. making fingers look moist and youth.(lolx) Does feel oily on the fingers but that was quite normal .. but not oily and watery like cuticle oil.

As lip's treatment, it does soften the dry lips and heal cracked lips quite nicely.
The texture feel like any lip treatment - abit greasy, not sticky and doesn't have the thick waxy texture.

Comparing with La Roche-Posay Cicaplast

Cicaplast feel more oily and wet as compare to Shylina PBS.

After blending out both serum, Cicaplast still feel abit oily on the skin where Perfect beauty serum has a smooth velvety finishing.

My thoughts after trying the serum out for a month::
-> Doesn't irritate or cause any break-out on my skin
-> Not too rich nor oily on my combination skin
-> I like that it feel really smooth and the foundation glide on smoothy on my face.
-> I don't see any visible improvement on my skin/pores texture (it does look moist and supple- it might be the result from the skincares I'm using.. cos I notice that my skin texture have been improving even before I start using this serum) BUT, It does made my face texture feel smoother (touch my face with makeup on)
-> Foundation last "abit" longer.
-> It's a nice primer that wont cake up the foundation.
-> Oil control: Not oil, it's all depend on the type of foundation I use.
-> Does make fine lines look less dry and visible
-> When I apply the serum on my face.. it doesn't look like it will do anything to the skin/complextion (minimize pores, reduce fine lines, even out skintone).. it will show visible results only after I layer on the foundation.. the pores look less "bigger/deeper" and fine lines are reduced.
-> It was pretty hydrating.
-> Doesn't crash with my skincares products.

This type of skin improving product normally took way longer then 1month to see visible result. So far, I like it as it doesn't cause any harm on my skin and it does make my skin feel abit different. I will kept using it and hoping to see my skin getting better and better.^_^

It just made me feel good(emotionally wise) thinking that I'm piling alot of good healing ingredients on my skin by using various products from skincares to skincare properties cosmetics.
