Bandai The Rose of Versailles masks were voted Number 1 Mask on Cosme 2011. In this post, I'm trying out the The Rose of Versailles Oscar & Rosalie Face Mask [Peach scent].

Received this piece of mask in the First Haraju Cute box... and the 3 products in the box were voted #1 on Cosme 2011.

Contains pomegranate flower extract, Camellia Flower extract and others plant extracts for silky and radiant skin.

Secrets to Oscar & Rosalie's beautiful Skin

Here my initial thought on using this mask.

• The mask fit well and stick nicely on the skin
• With the amount of serum, it does leak or feel messy during masking.
• Very refreshing and soothing
• love the cooling sensation during the first 5mins
• Very moisturizing
• Doesn't sting nor have burning sensation while masking
• After 10 mins, the mask still feel pretty moist on the skin
• Doesn't cause any irritation nor breaking-out (after a day)
• Skin feel moist and supple
• Skin does look abit radiant after masking
• Skin feel extra smooth and soft after apply skincares
  Does increase the moisture level on the skin
• Effect wasn't long term, but I can feel that constant use of the mask can boost up the hydration level.
• The mask feel so nice - peachy... even after I removed the mask, the scent still linger on the skin for the next 20-30mins
  It smell like fresh peach... not too strong nor sweet.

Here my initial thought of the MORILINS Softening and Smoothening Organic Facial Therapy Mask

When I first put on the mask.. OMY.... I forgot to stretch the mask first (OOps! lolx)
So with some pulling here and there while the mask still on my face, it fit and stick on my face nicely!

• The mask feel abit tight(comfortable type of tightness) - lifting effect!
• Mask feel very moist yet not too messy "masking" it
• Very refreshing and soothing
• Does have a bit of tingling feels.. (nice type of feel)
• Doesn't sting nor have burning sensation while masking
• The mask remain moist and refreshing after 15mins
• Skin feel so relaxing
• Doesn't cause any irritation nor breaking-out
• Skin feel moist, supple and smooth
• Very moisturing (repeat again... I like how moisturizing this mask feel)
• After applying my normal skin cares... skin still feel "refreshing"
• I like the cut of the mask... cos it does cover up the side of my nose to the inner cheek where most of the mask doesn't!

The effect is just temporary.. but it good enough to give skin a relaxing "spa" treatment at home.

In this entry I'm going to do an initial review on the Garnier Hydrating Glowing Essence 2nd Skin Mask.

Here's my initial review on the Garnier Hydrating Glowing Essence 2nd Skin Mask... (One time use - since mask is temporary relief for different type of skin concerns.)

• The mask fit nicely on the skin 
  
• Cotton tissue type of mask sheet
  
• Mask feel cooling on the skin
• Feel really refreshing and soothing
• Moisturizing
• Didn't see any visible improvement on fine lines
• Pores does look abit less drying
• Doesn't cause any stingy/burning sensation (GOOD!!!)
• Didn't cause any irritation nor breaking out during the 20mins of masking
• Skin feel supple and soft after masking

Over all, my complexion look fresh and skin look well hydrated.  (The effect doesn't till next day)

The mask feel soothing, cooling and very moisturizing on the skin.... but the mask sheet between my nose and mouth area start to feel abit dry after 20mins. 15mins should be more then enough.

When mask is dry, it will suck out the moisture from the skin - so to prevent it, PLEASE do not leave mask on the skin for more then 20 mins....  especially using cotton tissue type of mask.

Review based on the initial thought of the mask. (One application - since mask is temporary relief for different type of skin concerns.)

• The mask is seperated into 2 parts for best fitting on the face contour.
• I find the mask is abit "small" (short) for my chubby face.
  Because the top mask only cover half of my forehead and didn't cover much on my inner cheeks.
• soft gel type of mask
  (great type of mask for intense moisturizing)
• Feel really refreshing and soothing
• Very moisturizing
• Didn't see any visible improvement on fine lines
• Pores look less drying (Pores look less "deep")
• Doesn't have the stingy sensation (GOOD!!!)
• Didn't cause any irritation during the 40mins of masking
• No breaking-out
• Skin texture feel refine and smooth
• My complexion look fresh and brighten up after the 40mins of masking

(Really brighten up my skin - even on my already fair skintone, I still notice the "whiten" effect!)

I do notice that I didn't release much sebum the next day - so this mask does aid in "oil-control" department.

See.. I tried to pull the mask near to my nose without breaking the mask....

It a transparent jelly gel type of eye's patch mask....

After finishing 2 boxes (5 pairs per box) for a months (I used about 7 pairs - pass some to my sister) ... here's my thoughts on the Leaders Insolution Hydrogel Eye Therapy Patch.

• The mask doesn't feel too messy nor too watery wet when I stick it on my skin

• It feel pretty cooling/refreshing for the whole 15-20mins of masking

• The mask stay/stick pretty well on the skin

• Doesn't cause any skin irritation nor cause any break-out on my skin (During the time when I use these eye patches, I have abit of dry skin)

• Very moisturizing
• It does brighten up the under eye areas (the effect didn't last till next day)
  I believe most of you already know that masks are just a quick fix (temporary) provide skin with maximum hydration.
• Does reduce the fine lines (on my under eyes) temporary
• Skin around the undereye areas look moist and supple
• The gel will be fully absorbed into the skin in about 15 to 30 mins (the gel patch will feel thinner and less cooling) depend on each skin's condition.
• I have 2 boxes of this and when I used it 3 days in a row... it gives better result than using once or twice per week.

A good quick fix eye's patch for puffy, dry and tired under eyes areas.

I prefer this type of eye patch mask over "paper" type of eye mask..... because it doesn't feel messy and was so much hydrating that "paper" sheet eye mask.

The essence of this mask is milky white, not your usual clear essence. It feel creamy after I peel the mask off from the 2 protective sheets.. it still have alot of essence left on the semi-transparent paper foil sheets...

I applied the left over essence on my elbows and neck.

During the day I took these pics, I was suffering from serious flu which cause the skin between my lips and nose to be very dry, flaky, red and painful.

The mask was really cooling and it will become more and more cooling..so I covered my eyes and rest on the bed for 20mins(relaxing!)

After 20mins... I took off the mask, still can see alot of essence sticking on my face..

According to Niu Er, he mention that we have to rinse off the excess after masking "Whitening Mask" unless it stated that we dont need to rinse it off) But to play safe(cos my skin don't react too well on "whitening stuff(except sunblock and cleanser- I know weird right)), I use a damp cotton pad to wipe off the excess.... before applying my normal skincare products.

Review::
I don't see any instant whitening, but I do notice lightening in redness around my cheek areas(which always so pinkish).. the pics can't really tell much cos I took these pics at night with indoor lighting(and it seem like the before pic are more brighter then this!). Skin feel abit smoother, cooling, soothing and pretty moisturizing...

Check out the below pics.. the flaky and dry skin inbetween my nose and lips are more hydrated.. it still feel dry and coarse. But not as painful as before.

Because of the Bio-cellulose (nano-scale fiber) mask... the essence are sealed in between my skin and the mask.. so I can ensure that the essence only have one way to go(into my skin and not evaporated into the air), even if I mask it abit longer, I will not afraid that the moisture will be suck out by the "paper mask" cos the Bio-cellulose nano-scale fiber.. doesn't absorb moisture as fast as paper.

I rested about 7days inbetween before I use another mask.. and once again, I don't see any whitening effect on my skin. Just a more brighten and even complexion.(Maybe becos I was already fair enough?? But my face is darker then my body... so I believe that I still can go abit more fairer!)

For once, I didn't apply any skincare after masking to see whether my skin will feel dry or tight... it didn't, my skin was pretty hydrated(even in air-con room) and feel really soft and smooth. (I love the texture of my skin after masking)

Personally, I think the whitening essence was pretty normal... but the Bio-cellulose mask is excellent. It just lock everythings inside while masking and becos of that, my skin doesn't lost any moisture during the 20mins of masking!

I know this is not a cheap mask... Abox of 3 masks(about SD$21 per piece) was abit too much. If you willing to spend abit more, this might be a good mask to try.
