Original ingredient - Concentrated Coix lacryma-jobi (Job’s tears) extract
Coix lacryma-jobi (Job’s tears)
[Origin] Indigenous to tropical Asia, from Southern China to Indochina, it is said to have been brought to Japan long ago (around the eighth century). An annual grass in the Poaceae family, it is currently cultivated all over Japan. It grows to a height of about 1-1.5 meters, and it produces flowers in the summer, while in the autumn it produces grain with a brownish-red, elliptical husk.
[Origin of the name]
The Japanese name of “hatomugi,” or “pigeon’s wheat,” is said to have been given to the plant sometime around the 19th century or after because pigeons liked to eat its grain. However, another story ascribes the name to the fact that the shape of the grain resembles a pigeon’s chest. Before the 19th century, it was called “Shikoku mugi,” or “Four-stone wheat,” because large amounts of it could be harvested in small areas of land (harvest of 4 stones in about one-tenth of a hectare). The English name of “Job’s tears” comes from the teardrop shape of the grain, and most likely refers to the biblical character of Job, who underwent great suffering.

In addition to aiding with joint inflammation, rheumatism, and gout, and serving as a stomachic, antipyretic, diuretic, and detoxifier, it is also said to have other significant effects, such as nutritional fortification, wart removal, skin beautification and other cosmetic effects.

For ALBION Skin Conditioner, it have to be use after Japan version of Milk lotion, then pour a good amount of Skin conditioner toner onto the cotton pad and light pat all over the face. And finish it up with moisturizer or cream.

The flower’s Japanese name (“Hitori Shizuka”) was supposedly named after “Lady Shizuka”, the love of 12th century tragic hero Yoshitsune Minamoto. 【Iris florentina root extract (Revitalizing agent)】
It is a perennial with leaves shaped like swords and produces a white flower. The extract derived from the rhizome of the Iris florentina linne contains four kinds of isoflavones, which have effects similar to those of female hormones.
