Kate New Matte shade brows mascara (Swatch of BE-1 on brows)

By everbluec · May 12, 2013 · 0 Comments ·

Recently, Kate Cosmetics released 2 new matte shades brow mascara into their collection. I love their existing shimmery shades (gold and redish bronze). So when I saw the new matte shade, I just have to HAVE IT :b

Each brow's mascara retail at SD$14.90 Very reasonable - because I personally love their brow's mascara - I have original 2 shimmery shades - they are very lasting and coat the brows nicely without making a mess (I means not too wet).

Palty Bubble Dye in Raspberry Jam + Men's Palty Bleach [Change my hair color]

By everbluec · September 8, 2012 · 5 Comments ·

Changed my hair color!

Few days ago, Nanda (my younger sis) came over and say she wanna dye her hair... so went to Watsons and get some dyes.

There's 20% discount on selected hair dyes...

So we each got the Men's Palty Bleach and Palty Bubble Hair dye. (Bleach to light black hair and bubble dye to add color)

  • Men's Palty Hi Bleach (Price SD$13.90)
  • Palty Bubble hair dye (Price SD$16.90)

[Price before discount]

The percentage of the bleach on Men's Palty Hi-bleach was not really strong/high, so don't expect blonde!! lolx ....  Anyway, this is good enough for me.

((I miss those old school %% hair bleach that we used to have in Guardian .... need to show ID before purchasing one.. cheap and strong!))

I only got a box of hair bleach becos I only want to bleach the crown part of my hair (just lighten the "black" root that has been growing out since my last dye in November.) and a box of bubble hair dye in Raspberry Jam.

I want something redish and orangey... and this is "LOVE AT FIRST SIGHT" (lolx)

I ask Ariya (my other sister) to help us dye our hair ^_^

First using the Men's Palty Bleach to bleach the crown/black hair) .. I dont want even shade.. cos I wanna have different shades of orange and red (refer to the above Palty Raspberry Jam color chart)

.

.

Men's Palty Hi-bleach

It look like I highlighted my hair... but in real ... my hair color was way lighter and "golden"

The Bleach smell was kinda strong and it does dries the hair abit. (Well,  all bleach is the same!)
After rinsing out and blow dried my hair..... time to add in color.....

.

.

Palty Bubble dye in Raspberry Jam

Mix the liquid and cream in the cup and stirr.....  Smell so yummy~

when I rinse off.. it look pale yellowish orange with a hint of red under tone... but not as "yellow" like the flash pics!!

When under bright day light (I took the daylight pics the next day) .. my hair does look redish orangey (yesh.. thought not as red as I've imagined.. but still look nice)

More day light pics..

Palty Hair dye is available at Watsons Singapore.
Purchase it with some vouchers + my own $$$$$

.

.

.

Here's some pics of my darlings....
I start walking my dogs daily with longer timing for a few weeks now... because Buibui is seriously OVERWEIGHT!!!!!

Peapea's happy face...

Buibui's slim down abit and I spot muscle on her back thigh on the first week!!! Why they slim down so fast one!! I also walking with them.. and I still look the same!!!!!

After a long walk, run in the park..... ZzzZZZZzzzzZZZzzzzZZZzzz....

Loreal Paris Hair Expertise Ever Sleek Sulfate-free Smoothing system

By everbluec · August 14, 2012 · 16 Comments ·

Lately, I find that the shampoos that I'm using now (Marc Anthony Strictly Curls and Instantly Thick) ...  kinda don't work on me anymore...  I need to rotate with another shampoo (This is quite common for me... cos I always need to rotate shampoos after using the same one for more then 3 weeks!!!)

So I make my way over to Watsons (cos I have some vouchers to spend)... trying to find a shampoo that I have never tried before that was good in oil control or for oily hair... nothing caught my eyes... except this L'oreal Paris Hair Expertise series....

I can't decide what I want because all the ranges are targeting for damaging or dry hair :(  but I still feel like trying one of the shampoo!! So I pick the one that was meant for "messy" hair!

All Hair Expertise are...

  • Sulfate free
  • Silicone free
  • Paraben free
  • Contain Natural Botanicals and oils
  • 100% Vegan

When my scalp is acting up... organic products always work to soothe and calm my problematic scalp!
So I pick EVER SLEEk - Intense smoothing Shampoo

  • Gentle formula (good, cos rich will cost more "oil" on my scalp)
  • Weightless.. when I see weighless.. I think of volumn! (kekeke)
  • 48 hour frizz control

Ingredients list [Click to enlarge]

So after using it for 3 days... I stop! The shampoo was too rich for my oily scalp!!!!

It's too moisturizing for me.. my hair look very sleek and neat,  BUT the hair around my crown are so FLAT.. it look like I just pop out from the swimming pool!!!!

Although this shampoo feel rich, I didn't experiences any itchyness on my scalp. My sister is still trying out the shampoo (She's the one I always mentioned in Shampoo entries.. she has very dry, fluffy and BIG hair.)

The shampoo lather well into the scalp but doesn't foam up much.
When I rinse off the shampoo... I feel like I was using a mixture of conditioner and shampoo (more conditioner then shampoo)... it doesn't give me that "clean" feel. [But when hair is dry, it does feel clean]

.

So to sum up, this shampoo is suitable for damaging and dry hair.

.

.

Price : SD$14.90
Available in Watsons Singapore

P/S: I need to rotate shampoos every 3 to 4 weeks... it's not that the shampoo is not good, it's my scalp. I can use back the same shampoo after another 1-2 cycles of other shampoos.

Mio Piccolo's blushes and brow's mascara

I haven't open these yet - let me know if you want swatches.. I'll edit in ^_^

:

Recently, I have been thinking about getting some "oil" products for my super dry eczema skin on my legs... and I saw these when I passes by The Bodyshop last week.... the handcream was kinda impulse buy! lolx

The Bodyshop Beautifying oil (SD$22.90) and Cranberry Joy handcream(SD$14.90).

They are 4 types of oils...  Moringa, Shea, olive and strawberry Beautifying oils (I got Moringa and Shea) .. I got these at promotional price of SD$14.90 each. I'm thinking of getting the other 2 (hopefully the promotion still ON)

The oil feel nice on dry skin... but best to apply right after shower when skin is still moist. (These oil can be apply on body, face and hair)

:

:

NYX Jumbo Pencils - My sis got these for me a couple months ago when she saw these around her work place. I don't really like these cos it's too creamy.. but they work alright with a primer. (SD$7.90 each)

KATE Mineral Liquid foundation (I won this thru some facebook giveaway)
ettusais BB mineral cream shade #10(Got this last year and I totally forgot about it!!!! Price - SD$38)

"

"

Stila smudge stick waterproof eyeliner in Peacock (Price : SD$28)

(Can't remember the price for this... SD$17.90 or SD$19.90)

NIVEA Sun Invisible Protection - Transparent Spray SPF50
(Price : SD$23.90)

I used this to a yatch outing last week.. it does feel abit oily(not sticky) and it took awhile for it to fully settle into the skin. Biore Marsmallow Whip Extra Moist Facial Wash For Moist Supple Skin

By everbluec · June 10, 2012 · 0 Comments ·

With the success of Biore Marshmallow Whip Facial Wash in 2011, Biore has added a new variant to the Marshmallow Whip range in Singapore!

Woohoo~  finally bring in the Biore Marsmallow Whip Extra Moist Facial Wash!! Have been wanting to try this after reading about it on their website.

Brand new Biore Marshmallow Whip Extra Moist Facial Wash is also formulated with the instant foam pump technology that allows ultra-fine fluffy foam to be dispensed. With just 1 pump for instant foam, it saves you the trouble and time for lathering the foam with your hands! This soft foam has micro bubbles that can penetrate deep into pores to remove dirt, oil and impurities thoroughly.

Biore Marshmallow Whip Extra Moist Facial Wash also contains 40% Beauty Serum that is extra moisturizing so skin becomes moist and supple with no dryness after use.

Suitable for dry skin types.

Product features

  • Instant foam with just 1 pump!
  • Ultra-fine foam - made up of micro bubbles that are smaller than pores for thorough yet gentle cleansing
  • Fine and smooth foam texture spreads and cleanses well
  • Contains 40% Beauty Serum for extra moisturizing
  • Skin becomes moist and supple with no dryness after use

The whole packaging is the same as the Biore Marshmallow Whip Facial Wash.

Ingredients list...

The foam feel rich, thick and moist...
Not as dense as Biore Marshmallow Whip Facial Wash, but feel much richer and smoother on the skin.

Here my thoughts on Biore Marsmallow Whip Extra Moist Facial Wash

  • Scent: Smell like all Biore cleanser.. soft floral clean scent.
  • Cleanse well
  • Didn't experiences any break-out or skin irritation
  • Skin feel soft and supple
  • Hydrating and doesn't make skin feel so TIGHT
  • When I towel dry my face, my skin doesn't feel too tight

;

;

Hydrating cleanser DOES make a different in the whole skincare routine when skin was being suck dry by whatever reasons(or natually having dry skin). With a hydrating cleanser, it make skin feel nicer, moist, smoother and ready to absorb whatever skincares I put on... much better.

Beside this, the Neutrogena Hydro Boost foam cleanser work quite well with dry skin too... but Biore's feels more smoother and richer.

;

;

For oily to combination skin - can give Biore Marshmallow Whip Facial Wash a try. [Review]

Maybelline Color-Tattoo by eyestudio

By everbluec · April 17, 2012 · 4 Comments ·

Joined Michelle's beauty.com Spree sometimes back...

And I got..... Maybelline Color-Tattoo by Eyestudio in Tenacious Teal, Audacious Asphalt, Fierce & Tangy and Painted Purple

Swatches...
[Top Left = Tenacious Teal] [Top Right = Fierce & Tangy]
[Bottom Left = Audacious Asphalt] [Bottom Right = Painted Purple]

Tenacious Teal

Fierce & Tangy

Audacious Asphalt

Painted Purple

These cream shadows feel abit more greasy as compare to MAC Paintpot when I run my finger on the cream...
but when I swatched it on the back of my hand, it feel rather similar.

The matte shade of Maybelline Color-Tattoo(eg: Fierce & Tangy) feels more moist as compare to the matte/cream shade of MAC paintpot (Eg: Paintery).

When it dries, it almost smudge proof!!! I like I like~
Haven't try these on my lids yet, so not sure about the "creaseless" power yet.

Anyone of you tried these? And which shade do you think is a "MUST" get shade?

Random online purchased

I haven't been hauling much (Ahem* that's what I like to think so) and I hardly blog about the stuff I got... Well, I still do but very selective~ lolx

Anyway, recently... I joined a drugstore spree (when they are having 20% off) and Ming(miwitch) tag along too :b

Foundations and brushes that we can't get in Singapore! [Not all are mine... half of them belong to Ming]

I ordered 3 foundations... Check out the shades.. this are all their lightest shade and Instant Age rewind look so pinkish and abit dark from the bottle (I tried it, and it's abit warm.. but doesn't make me look like a lobster)

Maybelline FIT ME is a perfect match.. but the coverage was so sheer that I don't feel like I was applying anything.. but I do like the dewy finishing and it does even out my complexion.

I havent try the Loreal Magic smooth souffle yet...

The sponge can be remove (I didn't use that.. lolx.. I just turn and click out the foundation from the tube)

Got some brushes too... all feel sooooooooooo soft! <3

These kabuki are abit smaller then I've imagined.. but not too tiny like baby kabuki la...

I got these 3 item recently (I will do a seperate swatch post on the UD Naked2)

I did got some Lancome, Ettusais, Rachel K CC cream (those were part of my last year's Christmas presents) and some random makeup item from my sisters.

Most of the time, I just buy random skincare products (especially facial spa water mist), cleansing water, cleansing oil and re-purchase of shampoo, moisturizer and other random body lotions. (Not so exciting... )

So do you all have any impulse hauling???

Belif is the "water" bomb for my sahara desert skin!

By everbluec · March 8, 2012 · 2 Comments ·

[A tiny Belif haul]

Last Wednesday, I finally gave in and got myself some Belif products at the newly opened/launched store located at Wisma. I got 2 item, Belif The true cream - aqua bomb and Belif First aid Aqua rush mask.

The store layout and concept were pretty simple and neat... nothing fancy or girly. No pics la (lolx...) I'm not that daring to dig out my iphone to snap around the store!  -_-"

But I did found one from their Korean Website - www.belifcosmetic.com

Belif First aid Aqua rush mask
Price: SD$38 for 50ML

This is a wash off mask - apply a thin layer on the whole face and let it sit for 10 to 15mins and rinse it off with warm water.

I tried this twice and it feel so nice and soothing - it does have abit of tingling feel on the skin between my upper lips and nose (because this is the drier areas on my whole face!).

Just 10 mins... my skin feel really soft and supple the flaky and rough texture on my cheek reduce abit ... to maintain the moisturizing feel, still need to seal it in with moisturizer. My skin does feel abit tight after afew mins from rinsing off.

I agree that this is an SOS for dehyrated dry skin!

Ingredients list [Click on the image to enlarge]...

.

.

Belif The true cream - aqua bomb
Price: SD$54

Ingredients lists [click on the image to enlarge]...

They have 2 type of moisturizers (I tried both samples and I like it... and I was torn between both but .... I end up with Aqua bomb cos of the protective layer)

Aqua bomb >> Can feel instant hydrating, soothing and cooling sensation when applying the moisturizing, oil free, took awhile for the gel to absorb, but once absorb, skin feel supple, smooth and not oily/sticky. Does have a protective layer that wrap around the skin surface. Keep skin moisturized for the whole night.

:

:

Moisturing Bomb >> (I have 3 of this sample packs) which last me about 7 days. It feel like a light cream moisturizer, does feel abit oily, but once absorbed, skin feel so smooth and soft (much softer as compare to aqua bomb)... keep skin moisturized the whole night. But I do not feel anything when I wash my face the next day. [Maybe I didn't apply much?]

:

I like the soothing, cooling and protective layer of the Aqua bomb.
As for Moisturizing bomb, I love the intense moisturizing factor and how soft my skin feel.

I choose to get aqua bomb first, because I want the protective layer to wrap around my skin, cos I'm trying to heal my dry painful flaky skin ASAP - so Aqua Bomb feel like the best option.

Oh ya, both moisturizers and the aqua rush wash off mask have similar scent, not too strong or overpowering.. refreshing, very citrus-y (lime) and abit sweet! (I like the scent, so no complain)

.

.

.

They also gave me a sample kit (consist of 5 samples targetting on your needs - I opt for dry skin)

Why belif....
I got some samples from them while walking along the road outside Takashimaya. At that time, my skin was so dry, tight and abit painful... and I'm willing to try any moisturizing products.

The moisturizers that I have were not enough - I was rotating Murad(for dry skin) and ROC (for combination skin) hydrating products (both were really hydrating on my "normal" skin condition, but this time both doesn't seem to work on my painfully dry skin  -_-)

I was suffering dehydration from sleeping in AC room(???) lack of water in my system(???) and it got worse after I came back from KL, Malaysia (I was there for an event, will blog about it soon!)

When I first tried on the aqua bomb, my skin feel so soothing and moisturizing that last till next day. When I touch my skin, it feel nice, not oily nor sticky, but when water touches my skin(when I wash my face la), I can feel a layer of slimy texture, kinda like a mask protecting my skin!

You know, when skin have wound (especially on dry and flaky) when I applying moisturizer skin will feel abit pain pain from the burning/ tingling sensation.(Similar feeling when putting water on wound -  that kind of mild burning pain feeling... aiya, I donno how to explain la...  it like 刺刺 lor) But I got no such feeling when I use either Aqua bomb or Moisturizing bomb!

 .

.

.

Well, that all ^_^

Edit: April 3rd 2012
I know this entry got some of you excited (received emails asking me about the products), and I'm glad that I'm able to do some "helps".
Especially Ming and Charlene (You all made me feel so happy from sharing <3)
