Received a set of Loreal Color riche Les Ombres eyeshadow quads back in January 2013 (Swatches on all the quads will be up soon!!) These will be available at all Loreal counters in March/May 2013(Will find out and edit soon)

So in this post, I'm using Loreal Color riche Les Ombres in Velours Noir (E5).

 

To be frank, I wasn't too into this quad... "grey" just wasn't my favourite type of color to use on my lids(eyelids)... cos sometimes grey will make my eye look funky and messy (maybe cos I'm using  matte grey and fail all the time)

And when I show all the quads to my sisters... they all reached for this Grey/silvery quad!!! I told them they can have it after I tried it out. And boy.... the silvery, the frosty white and the frosty grey(which look abit "blue" on my skintone) shades are soooooo beautiful!

So beautiful that I used it almost everyday for the past week!! (Oops!! Kekekkee.. now I have to bid farewell to this pretty babe (Maybe I should keep it and get one for them?!?! See how I feels when I try the other quads ^_^)

The eyeshadows feels creamy(not too creamy, wet type), very smooth and easy to blend... does have a tiny bit of fall out.

Do pack the eyeshadow tight onto the eyeshadow's brush and tap away the excess to prevent fall out.

I try it with the essence eyeshadow base (which by the way... not really a good primer/base), eyeshadow look nice and doesn't crease too crazily on my deep double eyelid folds. Which means... even without a base, this shadows will still show up nicely, vibrant and smooth on the lids. (IF you don't have a deep crease/double eyelid folds la)

And with Urban Decay Primer postion in EDEN, the shadows look abit more vibrant and last very well without much creasing.

The pictures taken by my camera was abit too bright (the color doesn't show up nicely... )

Fledgling, a vivid green eyeshadow with a matte finishing.

The texture was pretty moist ... doesn't feel too oily, creamy nor chalky.
It can blend out really really well...  so apply bit by bit (alittle goes a long way ^_^)

The powder was very fine and smooth... easy to blend out and the pigment wasn't that strong.. just nice enough to give depth and dimension (for contouring/highlighting)

Sometimes back, I received 2 products from Palgantong PGT(available in SaSa). The Glow Skin Base and Brilliant Jelly Shadow.

In this post, I'm going to share about the products' information and swatches. I will be doing a look using both products in another post.

Palgantong Glow Skin Base

When I first swatch this on the back of my hand "I got a shock" .. it's beautiful golden shades BUT it look so dark to be "mine" highligher shade... 

But it was look totally different on the face!!! I apply this on my cheek first and it look so nice and soft, ir had this supple cheek effect.. the glow was pretty NICE!!!

I tried this before foundation and on after foundation.. both ways look good. NOW I'm tempted to try the other(lighter) shade!!!!

I didn't apply this on my whole face, just on my cheeks and abit on my forehead <3<3<3

Palgantong Brilliant Jelly Shadow

The jelly texture reminds me of KATE jelly shadows, but the texture was abit lighter, moist and easy to blend out as compare to the KATE version. Have the same "cooling" feel on the skin and it doesn't crease up easily (I didn't use any eye primer when I appy this on the lids), set and dry pretty fast on the skin.

We got a mini "eye" makeover session at the roadshow... I didn't pick my usual bright colors... just shimmering copper, Bronze Lustre and a tiny bit of Spice (I think...) cos these colors are pretty safe.. it won't look crazily obvious if I don't like it (You know... not all artist have the same way of applying makeup/style)

I told you... nothing too crazy!!  I have something on after this session, so don't wanna be too "overboard" (lolx.. excuses, I know :b)

Created my everyday casual style of eye's makeup with Maybelline HyperCosmo Duo baked eyeshadow in CH-1.

A beautiful combination of pale gold and blue/olive tone emerald green shades.
Both are super glittery (fall-out alert)

Using the pale gold on the inner corner of the eye lid and up towards my crease (slighly above my double eyelid fold) and the emerald on the outer lids and blend blend blend.

Apply a skintone shade eyeshadow (I just grab any nearby - and in this LOTD, I'm using Shu uemura M813 under my brows.)

I didn't use any foundation in this look... Nowadays, my skintone look so much more even... except that my outer cheeks still look abit reddish (I already give up on that and accept the fact that I have reddish uneven cheeks!!! lolx)

I used white corrector to brighten up my face (I only apply it on my inner check, nose bright/Tzone) .... since I didn't apply any foundation.. my face is abit darker and warmer then my whole body, especially my neck (I need to brighten up my face so that I won't look like I suntanned my face ONLY)

Estee Lauder Illuminating Perfecting primer gives me the naturally dewy glow on the skin which I like  :)

With super bright day lighting... skin always look so flawless and nice on camera!!! (My skin doesn't look soooo smooth IRL and upclose!!!)

I have been wanting to get this ever since I saw it on youtube and blogs!!!! The colors, texture and the packaging are so nice... especially the colors! They were all new colors with new formulation. When I swatched them, it does feel more "solid"(I means the shadows were nicely/tighly pressed down.

If you didn't own any Urban Decay Palette or eyeshadow... this is a good palette to start with, it got almost all the shades you need from base, crease to highlight shades.

Laced would be a good transistion for fair to medium skintone.

When I first look at the palette, Noise reminds me of Junkshow from the Urban Decay 15 Year anniversary eyeshadow collection palette... but when I swatched Noise.. I know it feel and look abit different.

Junkshow is more purpish pink where Noise is pow wow HOTPINK...
Junkshow has a satin sheen finishing.
