This entry have been siting in my draft folder like "FOREVER" - I keep forgot to upload images and then hit publish!! [FAIL]  - So do Keep in mind that this review will be base on combination skin(which is my original skin complexion I have back then).

As most of you already knew... my skin type have changed from combination oily skin to dry skin(my nose does feel a bit oily when I sweat or feeling warm and stuffy from our crazy humid weather).

I believe that "Aging" plays a huge part in changing my skin condition - because our skin changes every 7yrs and from 25 onwards everything just going down....down... down.... (sign~)

We need to depend on foods, fruits, water, vitamins, supplement and skincares to maintain "collagen" and keeping our skin balance and youthful.

Enough of all the skin talks...
Here's are my thoughts on Uriage HYSÉAC Rinse-Free Cleansing Lotion base on combination oily skin

I use cleansing water every morning(or when I woke up) instead of normal cleanser.

    • Did not experience any break-out
    • No skin irritation
    • Feel pretty drying on my mild combination oily skin
    • Skin feel abit tight after using it for more then a week
    • Does dries up acne
    • Love the refreshing feel
    • Pores minimized a little bit.
    • skin texture feel much clearer and smoother
    • Does reduce abit of redness
    • reduce the chances of clogged pores
    • Does calm and soothe angry breakout

After using it everyday for 2 weeks, my skin start to feel abit tight and drying - I find it abit strong for my mild combination skin.

This would be most suitable for oily and acne prone skin (replacing normal scrub).

    Uriage Toléderm Soothing Cleansing Water

    By everbluec · April 22, 2012 · 6 Comments ·

    [Review]

Uriage Toléderm Soothing Cleansing Water is enriched in soothing, anti-irritant Uriage Thermal Water, Toléderm Water cleanses, removes make-up and immediately calms feelings of discomfort experienced by hyper-reactive, intolerant skin.It gives a pleasantly fresh feeling without damaging or drying out the skin. It guarantees maximum tolerance, as it has a very strict formula.

Containing a minimum amount of active ingredients, for maximum tolerance and efficacy.

    • Gently removes make-up and provides long-lasting relief.
    • Comforts the skin.
    • Fresh, clean skin.
    • Instant feeling of freshness.
    • With or without rinsing.

      • Fragrance-free
      • Paraben-free
      • Colorant-free
      • Alcohol-free

      Ingredients list...
Composition: Uriage Thermal Water – Glycerin - Mild cleansing agents.
High Tolerance: Hypoallergenic - Non comedogenic.

I can't remember how many bottles of this I have gone thru before I found other cleansing water which work quite abit similar(like Kose Clear lotion(but this is abit strong) or SANA Easy Peel Cleansing Water(One of my fave)).

My first ever cleansing water was Uriage Toléderm Soothing Cleansing Water (except a sample of clear lotion from SKII - not full size and I didn't feel any different from using that.. so I rule that out as my "FIRST" :b)

Anyway, this cleansing water got me into using cleansing water in replace of facial scrub. I always find facial scrubs are way too harsh on my combination sensitive skin... But I have to use it cos of the ever growing of dead skin cell and sebum (hai~)

After trying out Toléderm Soothing Cleansing Water.. I notice that my skin look much clearer, less oil seed spots and pores are "clog less" most of the time.

      • I use cleansing water every morning instead of normal cleanser
      • Did not experience any break-out nor skin irritation
      • Love the refreshing feel and scent of the cleansing water
      • Soothing
      • Pores look much clearer..
      • Didnt notice any reduce of the size of my pores, but it does look less dry and HUGE
      • he texture of my skin feel moist and supple
      • Doesn't make my skin feel tight nor too drying
      • Does reduce abit of redness of my skin after application (cos becos it's quite refreshing)

When I first use this products, I do notice that my skin was soooooo dirty (the cotton pad look so dark and yellowish) and after using it everyday for about aweek. The "dirt" level gone down ALOT! This is the main reason why I cannot "STOP" using cleansing water - especially those that can cleanse off sebum and dead skin cells - Cos not ALL cleansing water does that!(Remember to read the label!)

Using it everyday... does cut down to accumulation of dead skin cell/sebum.
Because every minute we lose about 30000 to 40000 dead skin cells off the surface of our skin. Clearing off the dead skin cell, does help to make skin look brighter and also easy absorption of skincare products.

Well, I have no complain on this products ^_^

I didn't use this to remove makeup, cos I only use this in the morning or afternoon(if I woke up late- which happened almost EVERYDAY!!)

      Price: SD$33 (250ML)
      Available at Watsons Singapore

      P/S::
I also tried Hyseac Cleansing lotion, which was meant for Combination to oily skin- review will be coming up soon

Etude House Mini Size U Pore Refresh Astringent

      By everbluec · April 1, 2011 · 2 Comments ·

Back in December 2010, I got this Etude House Mini Size U Pore Refresh Astringent at our local Etude House.

Etude Minisize U Pore Refresh Astringent, 490ml (Toner, come with 30 pcs cotton pads)
      (Price:: SD$29.90)

Aesthetic pore care line formulated with fermented Rice Wine sediment to nourish while tightening pores. Pore Tightening Astrigent removes embedded residues with moisturising and cooling properties.

Active ingredients: Fermented Rice Wine Lees and Xylitol

This is a pre-toner lotion, double cleanse your skin and lightly tighten the pores.

The smell was pretty strong and it does sting my eyes abit (feel kinda smokey, lolx) when I wipe it near my eyes(not on my under eye areas) but it doesn't feel strong, drying or sting on my skin(not strong like using a high concentrated alcohol toner)..

Because this was formulated with Rice Wine so it's explained the strong smell(?)

This astringent feel really refreshing on the skin.. I soak a cotton pad wet with the lotion and lightly wipe it around my face first before concentrating on areas around my nose(areas that have huge pores) by patting it. I like to mask the areas with huge pores with the cotton pad and it does shrink my pores abit.

After that, follow by my normal toner or Mini Size U Pore Powder Toner (Which I planned to try next.)

I find that toner absorb much faster when I used Mini Size U Pore Refresh Astringent before my normal toner lotion. Love it <3

This huge bottle can last me around 3 months of everyday use (I only use this once per day)

Let's compare the size.... huge right(lolx)
