This is also the reason why I love moisturizing/hydrating products... because when your skin is hydrated, it solved about 80% of skin problems! Pores, oilyness, sagging, radiance and ects...

Here my thoughts on the toner::
Have been using this for about 6weeks... and I use a cotton pad with this toner

• Toner feel very watery
• Not sticky nor oily
• Very refreshing and soothing on the skin
• Doesn't cause any break-out
• No skin irritation
• The toner doesn't feel too harsh nor drying on the skin
• Skin feel supple and moist after patting the cotton pad(soak up with this toner) all over my face.
  (I have combination dry skin now.. so harsh/strong toner tend to sting my face abit)

I have no complains with this toner.. So mild that I can lightly run the cotton pad over my eye lids and doesn't cause any irritation. Toner work really well with their serum and moisturizer. (I tried it with other moisturizer and it work pretty good too).

My thoughts on the serum after using it on and off for about 6 weeks::

• The serum feel very moist and lightweight
• Feels abit slimey
• Not sticky nor oily on the skin
• Absorbed really fast
• Doesn't cause any irritation
• No breaking-out
• Feel very moist and hydrating
• Skin perk up instantly (skin feel supple and hydrated)
• Skin feel abit cooling and refreshing after the serum absorbed.
• Doesn't feel too rich yet Super moisturizing
• Work really well with the moisturizer

(I find that this serum give a boost of hydration level on whatever moisturizer(s) I'm using!!!!!)

When my skin is hydrated, it doesn't feel tight easily and pores seems to look abit smaller too.

My thoughts on the For Beloved One Extreme Hydration Moisture Surge Cream

Although this look like a gel cream but it doesn't feel like a gel nor cream at all! It feel more like a very lightweight non greasy mousse!!! Once I spread this on my face(skin).. it melts into liquid form (watery) and it absorbed into the skin very well and fast. (Super love the texture of this cream)

• Very moist mousse like texture
• non sticky nor oily
• Skin doesn't look oily or anything after applying the cream
  (it look like I just pat dry my face after cleansing) Good for those who don't like to feel anything on the face
• Hydrating level was pretty decent... but if you have dry and tight skin, it's best to use the serum before the moisturizer as it boost up the hydrating level.  (I tried it both way and I prefer the extra step of using the serum)
• Doesn't cause any skin irritation
• No breaking-out
• Skin feel smooth and soft. It last till the next day
• Skin doesn't feel too drying the next day
  (however, if I use the moisturizer without the serum.. it will feel abit dry/tight around my chin)
• This cream made skin feel supple and smooth

I start using this set of products around mid August (Got this set on 8th Aug) and finished the products except the toner around mid September 2012 (This entry have been siting in my draft like forever - just pics and review without the products information.)

This cream does contain alcohol and fragrance - But this doesn't cause any irritation or dryness on my normal to oily combination skin.

Luckily, my dry skin phase was over and so far so good, no tightness or flakey skin. (Yeah!! "Dance around waving my hand in the air".]

Only left about 1/3 of the products after using it everyday for almost a month.

A gel cream moisturizer - very moist gel cream texture.

[Note : I put too much on the back of my hand - took some off and apply on my neck (not wasting any product).]

The Face Shop E'thym O2 Water Aura Cream feel very moist and somewhat creamy... easy to spread out on the skin without dragging the skin.

Normally I will spread it out on my finger tips (I take about 20cent size amount) and pat it onto my skin. Focusing on my drier areas first [skin between my nose and cheek, forehead (cos I have some fine lines there...) and upper cheeks] and slowly patting it all over my face and down to my neck.

The cream feel very smooth (feels abit oily) and it's good for massaging (if you want).

I use this cream twice aday [day and night], I used less amount in the day.

• The gel cream doesn't feel sticky
• Not oily once it absorbed
  Once the cream absorbed, skin feel velvety smooth.
• Skin doesn't look oily or have any shine once the cream absorbed.
• The gel cream feel pretty light weight.
• Skin doesn't feel stuffy when applying the cream
• Moisturizing
• Doesn't cause any stinging/burning sensation on my face(especially on dry areas)!!!
• Doesn't cause any irritation nor breaking out.
• Skin feel supple
• Very soothing
• Skin does look brighter after applying the cream
• Have a mild and soft refreshing scent (soft and mild grapefruit scent)
• Keep my skin hydrated thru out the night (sleeping in Air-con room)

During the first week of using the The Face Shop E'thym O2 Water Aura Cream, I didn't feel any WOW factor, it's just feel like a very moisturizing cream moisturizer. It hydrate my skin very well, even in air-con room... and not too heavy for normal to combination skin.

BUT... on the 2nd weeks, my skin start to feel really smooth [Have been using this cream for almost 4 weeks].  I like that the cream smooth out the skin texture. And it does maintain the smoothness.

When I rinse my face the next day, I can feel a layer of moisturizer on my face. The cream does leave a protective layer on the skin surface to prevent skin from drying.

I do take beauty supplement, always on collagen drinks, or any other form of "beauty" fruits, foods, pills or detox supplement. All these just enhance the skincares products that I'm using.

I think everyone need to take care of their skin from inside and out for the radiance glow and healthy skin+body.

This is a good hydrating moisturizer for normal to combination skin [cos my skin tend to feel dry and tight sometimes.]

For dry skin, If you think that this is not moisturizing enough, you can add on serum/essence to enhance the hydratiion level.

As for oily skin - if you think that "cream" tend to be too rich. You can try their lotion (which is in a bottle packaging)... more light as compare to the gel cream.

By the way, my sister is using the E'thym Collagen water moisture lotion and Toner (Liking it so far) Let me know if you want a review, I can ask my sister to do it (She have oily combination skin and her skin only agree with Korean Skincares).

I include this essence into routine after trying out the Lifting cream for about a month, because... I wanna see how the cream feel on my skin and will the essence cause any break-out or irritation. (Have been using this for more then a month now, and I still have half bottle left.)

I only use a pump of the essence on my whole face except my nose. Cos I tried it on my nose for afew days and I have a huge inflammation bump popping out :(  It might be caused by the crazy hot and humid weather... but I just don't wanna risk it and causes more irritation to the bump, so I avoid using it on my nose.

After using the lifting cream for about 2 months (twice a day).

The cream feel moist and creamy.. I will spread it out on my finger's tips before lightly spread/pat it on my face focusing more on drier areas (like skin between my nose and lips, inner cheek and forehead).

When I first apply the cream on the skin, it does feel abit thick, but once it contact with the heat on my face.. the cream soften and become silky type of oilyness... easy to spread (massage) around. Once the cream is fully absorbed, skin feel soft.

It might be the type of foods I eat or new cleanser... but I believe "the essence and cream" does help in some ways. I love how my skin feel NOW ^_^

The texture of the cream feel like a gel cream - very moist and it does feel abit greasy. (Not those thick sticky oily type) - still consider lightweight for a "cream".

Before are afew picture when I test this cream on my fingers....

Fingers always have the most lines(wrinkles)... apart from the knuckles(of-course it gonna have lines there).. the skin above and below the knuckles have sime fine lines.. so I applied the OLAY Regenerist Wrinkle Relaxing Cream and see whether it will relax the lines and smooth of the surface...

I don't see much different on the before and after (from real life and from pics) BUT, it does smooth out the skin texture a tiny bit!

Hard to see much different right, but I do feel that the skin look less "tired'.

My thoughts on trying it on the face (One application - review)

• The cream feel cooling and soothing on the skin.

• Easy to spread out (due to the cream gel texture)

• Abit greasy.. feel more like silicony type of velvety smoothness.

• Took awhile to fully absorbed into the skin.
• The cream feel lightweight and gives a semi matte finishing.

During the "absorption" period ::

•  When I apply the cream on the skin - it feels moist and abit greasy.

•  After smoothing/patting/massage the cream on the skin, it feel silicon-y type of greasy feel.

•  When the greasy feel fade away after patting - it start to feel abit sticky, while it look semi matte on the face.

After about 5mins, skin feel velvety smooth. Doesn't feel sticky nor greasy.

After 10mins (Like the brand promoted.. the wrinkles will minimized), my skin texture doesn't feel any different as compare to before, the fine lines on my forehead does look "blurred" out abit.

I don't have any wrinkles (I think so and hope so) ... so I can't really tell much on that.

Anyway, this is just my initial thought on this cream,  will try it out for a period of time(mostly about a month plus) before writing a full review. (bookmark this page)

[A tiny Belif haul]

Last Wednesday, I finally gave in and got myself some Belif products at the newly opened/launched store located at Wisma. I got 2 item, Belif The true cream - aqua bomb and Belif First aid Aqua rush mask.

The store layout and concept were pretty simple and neat... nothing fancy or girly. No pics la (lolx...) I'm not that daring to dig out my iphone to snap around the store!  -_-"

This is a wash off mask - apply a thin layer on the whole face and let it sit for 10 to 15mins and rinse it off with warm water.

I tried this twice and it feel so nice and soothing - it does have abit of tingling feel on the skin between my upper lips and nose (because this is the drier areas on my whole face!).

Just 10 mins... my skin feel really soft and supple the flaky and rough texture on my cheek reduce abit ... to maintain the moisturizing feel, still need to seal it in with moisturizer. My skin does feel abit tight after afew mins from rinsing off.

I agree that this is an SOS for dehyrated dry skin!

They have 2 type of moisturizers (I tried both samples and I like it... and I was torn between both but .... I end up with Aqua bomb cos of the protective layer)

Aqua bomb >> Can feel instant hydrating, soothing and cooling sensation when applying the moisturizing, oil free, took awhile for the gel to absorb, but once absorb, skin feel supple, smooth and not oily/sticky. Does have a protective layer that wrap around the skin surface. Keep skin moisturized for the whole night.

Moisturing Bomb >> (I have 3 of this sample packs) which last me about 7 days. It feel like a light cream moisturizer, does feel abit oily, but once absorbed, skin feel so smooth and soft (much softer as compare to aqua bomb)... keep skin moisturized the whole night. But I do not feel anything when I wash my face the next day. [Maybe I didn't apply much?]

I like the soothing, cooling and protective layer of the Aqua bomb.
As for Moisturizing bomb, I love the intense moisturizing factor and how soft my skin feel.

I choose to get aqua bomb first, because I want the protective layer to wrap around my skin, cos I'm trying to heal my dry painful flaky skin ASAP - so Aqua Bomb feel like the best option.

Oh ya, both moisturizers and the aqua rush wash off mask have similar scent, not too strong or overpowering.. refreshing, very citrus-y (lime) and abit sweet! (I like the scent, so no complain)

Why belif....
I got some samples from them while walking along the road outside Takashimaya. At that time, my skin was so dry, tight and abit painful... and I'm willing to try any moisturizing products.

The moisturizers that I have were not enough - I was rotating Murad(for dry skin) and ROC (for combination skin) hydrating products (both were really hydrating on my "normal" skin condition, but this time both doesn't seem to work on my painfully dry skin  -_-)

I was suffering dehydration from sleeping in AC room(???) lack of water in my system(???) and it got worse after I came back from KL, Malaysia (I was there for an event, will blog about it soon!)

When I first tried on the aqua bomb, my skin feel so soothing and moisturizing that last till next day. When I touch my skin, it feel nice, not oily nor sticky, but when water touches my skin(when I wash my face la), I can feel a layer of slimy texture, kinda like a mask protecting my skin!

You know, when skin have wound (especially on dry and flaky) when I applying moisturizer skin will feel abit pain pain from the burning/ tingling sensation.(Similar feeling when putting water on wound -  that kind of mild burning pain feeling... aiya, I donno how to explain la...  it like 刺刺 lor) But I got no such feeling when I use either Aqua bomb or Moisturizing bomb!

• The color, texture and scent look almost the same as Biotherm Aqua non stop moisturizer!
• Doesn't cause any skin irritation nor break-out.
• Skin feel supple and smooth after a week of using

• Have a silky smooth finishing
• Skin doesn't feel sticky or oily for afew hours

(I just didn't notice or feel any oilyness on my face after a few hours)
I have mild combination oil skin (abit dry on the cheek and skin between the lips and nose)

 

I still feel that Biotherm aqua non stop is still the best moisturizing moisturizer.. I can feel my face pump up and hydrated after the first use.

As for Garnier :: the moisturizing level was average during the first use and I start to notice some changes after using it for 3 days!
(Note: I was using Biotherm Aquasource Zn hydra mineral cleansing mousse at the same time.. it said it will cleanse skin, re-balance the moisturizer level and make skin feel radiant and hydrated after 7days of using.. and I have been using it for a month now.. so I guess it does help abit by absorbing the moisturizer better!?!)

Garnier is a good alternative moisturizer for Biotherm Aqua Non Stop, which cost S$80+(?)
