Drugstore brands haul! VOV, Mavala, coastal scents mineral blush and ects (+ swatches)

I didn't plan to get all this stuff when I went to Jurong Point this afternoon with my Ariya(my sister)... All I want was the mini size DUO adhesive glue and some ointment for my crack skins.

At Guardian Pharmacies, I got the ointment and Methylated Spirit(Cos I used up my last 2 bottle of alcohols... mainly on cleaning mirrors/dresses top areas)

And at Popular, I bought art glue for faux lashes on bjd(Ball joined dolls) and blue tack(non makeup related... lolx)

I got Mavala(from switzerland) waterproof mascara in black and an eyebrow tweezer from SaSa.

Mavala was a Silk protein enriched waterproof mascara! It say it will strengthens and lengthens lashes.
I got it in black, cos the MUA say it only got black.. which I later found out from the init, saying it got 6 shades! =( Anyway.. if this is good.. I will be getting the other shades! (Free a volume & Longueur mascara.. which is waterproof too)
Price: SD$18.90 (Cheap ^_^)

The wing shape tweezer (Price SD$3.90)

From an accessories store outside Jurong Point/along the MRT there... I bought VOV purplish pink blush and an eyeshadows palette!!

VOV eyeshadows palette (OMY.. it's so smooth and pigmented.. almost feel like Sleek palette texture!)
This VOV palette shadows texture were so different to their single eyeshadow!
(This one almost feel like mineralise eyeshadows!! Maybe it is.. I just don't understand korean! lolx)

The casing was so pretty!!! I got #05
(They have 5 different palettes... should I go back for the other 4???)
This palette are smaller then the sleek palette(11cmx5cm)

The purple and white are matte shades

I Received my CoastalScents Package, which I ordered on 14 Sept (about 2days later then my EDM order, which I'm still waiting for it!) I didn't order brushes or colors stuff... mostly bases and adhesive powder for my DIY loose/setting powder (refill, cos my loose powder is running low!)
Silica Powder Spheres/Boron Nitride/ 2 empty sifter jars/lip gloss(for my friend)

They gave me a mineral brush sample ^__^

Peachy.. with gold and silver mica

I didn't spend too much money... which is good! lolx.. I wanna save it for the beauty convention this sat.. alot of brands having booth there with discounts!!!!
So far I only knew, Majolica, O2skin, Loreal and Maybelline will be there... anyone new any new brands having booth there???
Last Sunday, I finally meet up with my friend to collect my brush sets and empty palettes which she help me to ordered around July/August! (Will do an entry on it soon)

I think the blush is SD$6.90 and the palette is SD$8.90 (if I don't remember wrongly)

i am tempted by ur VOV products i heard they are quite good? keke...

i rem using the Mavala when i was in sec 3/4!!! when i was just introduced to the wonders of makeup and mascaras. Gosh its still around. I rem it being quite good, but I dont rem why i strayed away from it in the end... hehe ;p

Wow, I think the VOV eyeshadow look great! I swatched their single eyeshadow before and I thought they were really blah but from your swatches, the ones from the palette look sooo pigmented! Great buy!

@ purplio : WOW you've tried Mavala... to be frankly I never heard about it before! hahahahhaaa... I still have to try it to see how good it is ^__^

@crazy4mac :: Thanks.. it really is a great buy.. I haven't use it on my lids yet.. so I donno whether it's long lasting.. but I have a feeling that it's will blend really well ^__^

The VOV shadows have so many different type.. I personally own VOV single shadows(2 of it) and a very glittering shadows palette and this one... And I found that this is the best of their eyeshadoes! It's really very creamy.. not too powdery yet very pigmented! (I was so tempted to go back and buy the rest... hahahaha)

@tiarabangs ::: It an hot event no doubts.... there always another one next year.. who know it might have something more interesting then this event? Anyway, just read their email and saw their floor plan ... it doesn't have any overseas brands =( just brands that we can check out in Singapore with promotion/discounts!

you use craft glue for falsies? Is it eye safe? And how is the staying power? Is the tweezers good? Is like the tip thin and easy to grab the hairs? sorry for the qns spam.. Smiling oh and nice palette.. Smiling

@fhy :: Nono.. the craft glue was my sister buy... she use it to paste faux lashes on her bjd(Ball joint doll) lolx (I forgot to mention that! lolx)

I tried the tweezers.. it grab hair really well.. but I can't control it well... it grabbing my skin.... I just not use to it! lolx.. cos I normally using those scissor type... (I have better control with that type) My sister say it GOOD! So I gave it to her ^__^

It's ok.. ask more if you like ^__~
